Musa: Euterpe

MUSA: temporary housing experience with the purpose of inspiring. It brings together two dwellings idealized from the personality of the Greek muses, to which the aptitude to inspire is attributed. The compact houses blend in with the mountainous terrain on the banks of the dam, where nature and human interventions harmonize and provide travelers with an inspiring foot-on-the-ground-foot-on-the-water experience. The set is a constant invitation to contemplate beauty from different angles and heights. The space ~ a muse to call your own: Euterpe Euterpe is inspired by the muse of music and the pleasures associated with sound. Music is the most fluid of the arts, naturally endowed with the ability to disperse throughout the environment. We conceived Euterpe, therefore, as a muse that transmits softness and lightness. Based on this, we designed a house suspended from the ground that gives the feeling of floating towards the dam. The 50m² house is built in three independent modules, elevated at different levels of the land, but brought together by a common deck. The result is a bold yet surprisingly harmonious architecture. Music, after all, is nothing more than the sum of initially dispersed sounds, which converse and form the melody together. The Euterpe house is, in its essence, therefore, an allegory of music itself. The integrated living room with a large kitchen offers the necessary space for preparing meals and invites us to prepare a table set with affection, always overlooking the dam. The furniture, decorative items and trousseau are curated by Westwing and perfectly complement the experience. The suites are compact, but without giving up comfort: Zissou queen coral mattress to lie down and wake up with a panoramic view of the dam. Outside: suspended decks in each of the suites, masonry pool with a unique view of the dam. Euterpe is a true private viewpoint. Guest access The dwellings, immersed in nature, are located in a mountainous stretch of great privacy on the banks of the Paraibuna dam, in the rural area of the small town of Redenção da Serra, far enough from the nearest urban civilization. From São Paulo, it is about 180 km to the center of Redenção da Serra. After this route, there are 8 km of dirt road that is generally well maintained, but which, especially in rainy seasons, can present more difficult stretches to travel. Low cars may face a little more difficulty. It is recommended that the journey be made during the day, calmly, enjoying the view and connecting with what really matters. The dwellings are far from commercial establishments. It is therefore recommended that you bring in the trunk everything you will consume and potentially need during the experience. Enjoy moments of silence and be inspired to prepare your own meal, without haste. Prominent tourist spots in the region: city of São Luiz do Paraitinga and Serra do Mar State Park – Santa Virgínia Center. Other things to note Pet-friendly policy: pets are welcome! Be aware, however, that the land is not fenced and we are in an open nature location, where the presence of wild animals, including (although rare) venomous ones, is common. Internet: Starlink internet is available, ensuring good connectivity for everyday activities. The cell phone signal is unstable, when in doubt do not count on it. Children: strictly for safety reasons linked to the architecture of the houses and geography of the land, we do not recommend the presence of children in the houses. Dam: the dam can be accessed by a ladder located in front of the land, and is suitable for water sports. At the moment, however, due to the rainy season, access to the dam is under maintenance.
