If you plan to check in after 8pm, please be sure to contact us. Welcome to Tomod's Cafe Annex. It opens in May 2025 and you can spend a wonderful time with your companions away from the busy life. A staff member is staying in the staff's area on the 1F, and the 1F bathroom & lavatory and its access line are shared with the staff. The space ※The staff’s area on 1F is separate from the guest area. ※Partially shared on 1F: Bathroom & lavatory and its leading line. ※There is a shower room only on 2F ※No elevator ※Information is available in Japanese and English. ・It is a two-story house. ・1LDK ・1 bedroom 1st floor: 56㎡ living kitchen space. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, a DeLonghi coffee machine, cold barley 　tea, and tea bags with teas from around the world to enjoy the atmosphere of a private cafe. The room is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and can be connected to up to 20 PCs at once, a 55-inch TV with HDMI-compatible equipment for watching movies, and Bluetooth connectivity for powerful sound from the in-room ceiling speakers. There is also a shared bathroom with a jetted tub and lavatory. ※Staff will pass through between the staff room to bathroom and lavatory. 2nd floor: 46㎡ a shower room, lavatory, and private lockable bedroom. ※All 2F area is guest private area including shower room and lavatory. ●SIZE 102㎡ ●BEDDING 2F Bedroom: 2 single bed, 2 single Futon set(Japanese style mattress) ●ACCOMMODATES Up to 4 guests ●Parking Free parking is available for 5 cars. It takes about 1 min away from my house. ●Breakfast ★ Free Breakfast Service Included ★ Breakfast will be served in the café area on the first floor. (between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM) Please note that children aged 6 and under who share a bed with their parents are not eligible for the breakfast service. The photos shown are examples and may differ from the actual breakfast contents. ●Rental Bicycles We have two rental bicycles available for a fee, which are convenient for sightseeing. Please inquire with the manager on site. ------ 【Tourist information】 Tomo’s Café Annex offers easy access to four nearby ski resorts: Blanche Takayama, Pilatus Tateshina, Kirigamine Family Ski Area, and Fujimi Panorama. The lake Suwa is popular for fishing year-round—carp, crucian carp, and smelt (Dec–Mar)—with fishing permits available at nearby tackle shops. Also lakeside glows with winter illuminations, perfect for evening walks. The setting of the film Your Name, can be viewed from Tateishi Park (15 minutes by car). During sake brewing season, enjoy visiting local breweries in Suwa (only 8 minutes by train from Okaya to Kami-Suwa). Famous scenic spots such as Kirigamine, Tateshina, Kurumayama, and Kamikochi are all within a 30-minute drive. Okaya, known for its silk industry and as the setting of the film “Ah, Nomugi Touge”, is just 2 minutes by car from Kamaguchi Water Gate. Including in the entrance and balconies etc as well. If any evidence of smoking is found, a special cleaning fee (including odor removal) will be charged separately. However, smoking is allowed in front of the building on the premises. Ashtrays are available. ・Please pay special attention to noise at night and early morning. ・Please close the windows, turn off the air conditioner and the lights in the room when you go out. ・Please be careful when using cooking utensils, heaters, and other fire-hazardous equipment. ・Actual costs for repair, replacement, or disposal of damaged or lost equipment or fixtures , including additional cleaning is required, may be charged separately. ・After check-out, if large items such as suitcases are left in the room or on the premises etc , a disposal fee of 5,000 JPY will be charged. ・Quilt covers and bed sheets may differ from the picture on our page as we change them for cleaning. We appreciate your understanding. ・Please note that there's a possibility of a delay in the cleaning schedule and we might not be able to finish cleaning by check-in time. Luggage can be stored after 13:00. If you leave your luggage before check-in time, please place it all together in the entrance area inside ​​the room. If you check out after the regular check-out time, an additional fee may be charged.
