The perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle. The house is from 1905, the charm is retained and contains everything needed for a great stay. Lean back on the terrace, throw out the fishing line, go for a walk or enjoy yourself in front of the fireplace. Here you will find tranquility. Note that electricity is charged in addition based on actual consumption. The space Vormestrand is located on the Ropeid peninsula inside Vindafjorden. By car from Stavanger, you take the tunnel to Hundvåg and on to Tau. From there you drive to Hjelmeland and take the ferry across the fjord. From Nesvik you can drive directly to Vormestrand. The farm is signposted with Vormestrand Fruktgård, and if you come to the end of the road you have driven 2 km too far... Guest access You have free access to everything the cabin can offer and not least a great outdoor area on the farm itself. Dream away among apple trees or take a jump on the trampoline. The marked trail up to the highest point of the peninsula, Grytenuten (about 850 m above sea level) is not far from the cabin. From here you will be able to see all the way to Folgefonna on a good weather day. There are also other marked routes nearby. Should you wish other options, for example, Prekestolen is only a few hours drive away. Boats can be rented and we have several options. Please contact us for prices. If you just want to air the fishing rod, we can point out good fishing spots from land. There is also an outdoor arrangement for cleaning fish and plenty of freezer space if you are lucky enough to catch a lot of fish. The landlord is a publicly approved fishing company. A small bonus is actually the water quality. The water source from which the farm takes the water has been classified as health water. Enjoy it alone, with wine or in a whiskey.
