Ideal for families, couples or a group of friends, the villa is nestled on a 2.7 hectare property covered with palm and cashew trees. Encircled by mangroves, the rising water at high tide transforms the property into a private and magical peninsula. A pod of dolphins might greet you on your morning swim or walk along the bay, depending on the season. Bird life is abundant all year round. The space With 500m2 living space, the villa offers amazing views of the bay. From almost every room, you can enjoy the rich scenery as it transforms throughout the day. Built with locally-sourced materials, the villa’s large windows provide natural light and the high ceilings help circulate fresh air throughout the day. Enjoy stunning sunsets over the African mainland, and the awe-inspiring star-gazing that comes with virtually no light pollution. Blessed with privacy, the property is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Inhambane, a picturesque provincial town, and a 30-minute drive from the hustle and bustle on the tropical beaches of Tofo and Barra. Living room and kitchen With a combined floor space of more than 200 m2, enjoy dining, socializing and cooking in one open area. The living room has ample space and the kitchen is well-equipped. The marble kitchen island allows for relaxed and interactive meal preparation, a family-friendly “cook and serve center.” This unique living space has various seating and lounging arrangements, opens to a large verandah and connects to storage facilities. For those who want to conduct business in serene surroundings, the property has excellent Starklink internet connection and reliable electricity. Bedrooms Tofo, Bay View, Guinjata and Jagamo are the names of the four beautifully designed bedrooms. The separate and spacious bedrooms are equipped with double beds (with mosquito nets), fans and clothing storage space. Guest access The property is located less than 0.5 km from the National Road that connects Maputo to Inhambane Town. The last 200 meters is a private access road. The safe and free parking can accommodate up to eight vehicles. The parking area is located next to the main house and there are no stairs. The property is well-suited for visitors with disabilities. Confident drivers can easily reach the property without the need of 4x4. For less experienced drivers, we recommend the use of a 4x4 vehicle. Other things to note Inhambane is located 500km north from the capital Maputo, and can be reached from there (Maputo) and Johannesburg by plane or car. 24 hours security is provided throughout your stay. Upon request, our housekeeper can prepare local dishes like peanut chicken curry, coconut rice, xima, french fries, grilled chicken, grilled fish and others for an extra charge. Amazing tours of the area, with rented boats from the Port in Inhambane town, the provincial capital are also possible if requested in advance.
