The space This custom wooden house is set far back from the road with a long dirt driveway on a peaceful, tranquil, retreat setting. Walk in the front door to an open concept with cathedral ceilings and beautiful custom wood work. Inside, you’ll find a charmingly updated interior that combines all the modern conveniences with character to spare – notice the pressed-tin backsplash in the kitchen and main bedroom suite’s bathroom and the antique dresser painted in shabby chic blue and now serving as a coffee station. Brew yourself a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and start the day in the enclosed sunroom at the back of the house, with a sweet hammock swing, Boho egg chairs, and an overstuffed sofa, all with a view of the trees behind the home. Breakfast prep is a breeze in the full kitchen, which features all the appliances and plenty of counter space. When it’s time to eat, you’ll have your choice of a breakfast bar or built-in, window-front dining nook, which features a live-edge wooden crank table. After a fun day out, head home and get the wood stove on the main floor crackling. Grab one of the many board games on hand for some family together-time or, for a bit of TV, settle into the loft seating area and stream your favorite shows. No matter how you spend your evening, this darling cabin in the woods will be cozy and comfortable. Enjoy two first floor bedrooms, one featuring a bunk room with one full bed, a queen, and a twin and across the hall, one bedroom with a queen. Upstairs, you will find a futon couch along with a floor mattress in the loft . Across the hall, you will find master suite with one king size bed, a bed for your pets and a full on suite bath. Guest access Guests have access to entire house and big yard with indoor and outdoor games, from playing monopoly by the nice cozy wood stove on a snowy night or throwing horseshoes or ladder golf while cooking on the grill after a day of tubing down the Saco river. Other things to note There is a coffee bar with multiple style coffee makes as well as a hot chocolate maker, and a tea pot. We do our best to keep the coffee, hot chocolate and tea stocked for your convenience. We also keep a stocked wood shed with seasoned firewood for guests. We provide a starter set of toiletries for guests which includes travel, size, shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, also paper towels, and toilet paper.
