Gumbo Limbo North Captiva

Located on North Captiva, in Safety Harbor Club, this comfortable home is conveniently located near beaches, pools, & boat docks. Nestled among native palms, Gumbo Limbo has a wildlife-friendly, private setting you will love. Beautiful beaches & refreshing pools are a short walk or 2 minutes by golf cart (included). The island has over 5 miles of pristine sandy beaches to explore. 3 large pools, tennis & pickle ball courts, sea kayaks, bicycles & private beach access are available to guests. The space Guests of Gumbo Limbo will be registered with both The Island Club at North Captiva and the Safety Harbor Club and will have use of their amenities including their 3 large pools, tennis & pickle ball courts, private beach access and use of sea kayaks and bicycles. Through special arrangement with the host, a boat dock space can be rented for a daily fee at the Safety Harbor Club wharf (boat registration & insurance info will be needed for SHC). With, or without a boat, guests will enjoy fishing, wildlife watching or enjoying sunrises and moonrises from the harbor docks. In order to provide additional value and convenience to guests, Gumbo Limbo is currently including the use of its golf cart as an amenity for guests (*conditions apply, see details below). Gumbo Limbo is available for up to 6 guests. The first level of the house includes the living and dining areas, the first floor porches and decks, an outdoor shower, a kitchen, first floor bedroom and bathroom. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a couch with queen size pull out bed in the living area. The second level (accessed by spiral staircase) included 2 full size beds, an attached bathroom with bathtub/shower, and a small outdoor deck (perfect for star gazing or sun bathing). Starlink internet service offers fast reliable internet for guests. Golf Cart Use is only offered for groups of 4 or less. If you have more than 4 people in your group, you must rent a second golf cart in order to use the Gumbo Limbo cart. "Boats and Fun", located on North Captiva, offers golf cart rentals. 2. The Gumbo Limbo golf cart, is offered to guests for their transportation convenience (to the beaches, pools and docks). It is not offered as a recreational activity. Cart use should be minimal. 3. Guests who will be driving the golf cart must provide copies of their driver’s licenses and complete a Golf Cart Use Agreement.
