Relax with the whole family in our playful accommodation in the Ries Geopark with lots of light and natural building materials. An extraordinary ambience to feel good. Art and not off the shelf. Children will have fun on the two trampolines, the tree house or in the sandbox in the large permaculture garden. Children under 5 years of age are not charged. The rustic fireplace invites you to spend the evenings outside. The space The contiguous dining and living area is flooded with light. Various children's and board games as well as reading material for all ages are available. A wood-burning stove creates a homely atmosphere. A relatively steep staircase leads to the stage with a 160 cm double bed. From here you can reach another bedroom with a bed and mattress if needed. For stays with small children, the stairs can be secured from above. The kitchen is well equipped with seating and a table. Adjacent is the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Guest access The apartment has a separate entrance and private seating area. Other things to note The village of Maihingen is located in the Ries Geopark. A quiet and special spot with beautiful hiking trails and a geology trail in the immediate vicinity. Behind the house is a stream that can be explored. A nearby quarry also invites you to go on geological exploration yourself. The historic town of Nördlingen is about 11 km away. There are nice cafes and restaurants and in bad weather some exciting museums such as the Ries Crater Museum. A tour on the covered city wall is also possible. You can paddle on the Wörnitz river, which is about 10 km away. In the Danube Ries you can cycle on numerous cycling trails without much effort. The town of Oettingen also invites you to take a coffee or ice cream break.
