Boho Bliss Cottage in Godalming – A Unique Retreat Based On Our Travels Escape to our 2-bed boho cottage, just 5 minutes from Farncombe station in Godalming, the charming town featured in The Holiday. Inspired by Joshua Tree, California, this stylish home offers two spacious double bedrooms, a sofa bed, two bathrooms (one with a soaking tub), a modern kitchen, a cosy living room with unique lighting, a large garden, and parking for 4 cars. A perfect retreat near the Surrey Hills! The space Welcome to our cosy, characterful cottage — a space shaped by our love of travel and designed to feel like a true home-from-home. Light, airy and full of warmth, our two-bedroom house offers the perfect peaceful escape just a short train-ride outside of London, with Farncombe train station only a 5 minute walk away! Upstairs, you'll find two comfortable double bedrooms: the master features a super king bed with views over the garden, while the second bedroom has a double bed and dual-aspect windows that let in gorgeous morning light. There’s a charming little bathroom upstairs with a small standalone bathtub, plus a second bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower. The living room is made for relaxing — with a large velvet chaise-longue sofa and two accent chairs, there’s comfy seating for four and plenty of space to unwind with a book, a drink, or a film. Just next door, the dining room features a round table that seats six — perfect for long, sociable meals or a quiet breakfast to start the day. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up relaxed meals — complete with a hob, oven, toaster, American fridge and espresso machine. Outside, the garden is a real highlight: ivy-covered from spring to autumn (look out for the honeybees!), it’s home to a peaceful pond with a seating nook for your morning coffee or evening wind-down. There’s also a generous outdoor dining area and a covered kitchen space for alfresco meals. We have space on the driveway for two cars. As this is our lived-in family home, our own cars may be on the drive while we’re away, but there’ll always be room for yours. Please note: •This is a much-loved family home, so you’ll find some of our personal belongings around the house. •The house is only available for the number of guests listed on your booking. If you'd like to have any additional visitors — even just for a few hours — please check in with us first. We may be able to accommodate this with prior approval and a small additional fee. Unapproved visitors or extra overnight guests will result in charges and could lead to cancellation of the booking. •We don’t allow parties. Our neighbours have newborns, so please keep noise to a minimum during evenings and early mornings. Whether you're here to relax, cook, read, or explore, we hope you'll love the house as much as we do. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and patio.
