The space Welcome to the Old Glenroy Barn, a charming and beautifully restored 1940s studio-style retreat nestled in the heart of the Mary Valley and Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This cozy hideaway features a spacious king-sized bed with beautiful linen, Vintage leather sofa, and a separate rustic outdoor shower and modern composting toilet block, offering the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. Outdoor Charm & Country Ambience If you love the cozy glow of an outdoor fire, the outdoor fireplace is the perfect way to relax under the stars. A cook plate is also provided for those who enjoy cooking over an open flame. Firewood bundles, including kindling, fire starters, and lighters, are available for purchase. Surrounding the Barn, you’ll find charming memorabilia from the past, creating picture-perfect backdrops for lasting memories. Wake up to misty mornings overlooking the river flats that meet the stunning Mary River. Throughout the day, enjoy watching cattle and native wildlife meander through the property and in the evening, take in breathtaking sunsets over the Imbil State Forest. Prime Location The charming historic town of Kenilworth is less than 1km away where you will find it's historic pub, iconic cheese factory and world famous bakery. From Kenilworth, you can take scenic drives to Eumundi (32 km), home to the world-renowned Eumundi Markets, or Maleny (42 km), with its stunning views and boutique shops. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby recreational spots, including: • Charlie Moreland camping and picnic area • Booloumba Creek with crystal-clear swimming holes • Little Yabba Creek and Fig Tree Walk, a stunning rainforest stroll A Working Farm Experience As we are a working beef cattle property, you may see cows grazing near the Barn. Feel free to take photos, but for safety reasons, we kindly ask that you do not interact with the animals in their paddocks.
