Stay in Red, White & Bluestone, located in a charming cove on Buggs Island lake, close to the town of Clarksville (Virginia’s only lakeside town), shops, a brewery, restaurants, and more! The private dock has boat cleats and fishing rod holders and is just steps away, so bring your boat! Bluestone boat landing is just a mile away. Boating is the perfect way to spend your time on the lake! The space A beautiful kitchen offers beautiful lake views with an oversized island and offers everything you need to feel like you’re in a home away from home—including a well appointed coffee bar (Keurig and regular coffee pot), air fryer, toaster, crock pot, waffle iron, and so much more. Our dining area has sliding glass doors and the best lake views and offers ample seating to enjoy family meals inside (or out). Our living room offers an oversized TV, Direct TV and Wi-Fi, along with an oversized sofa and a full sized sleep sofa. The house offers extra bed linens for both. The themed Red, White and Bluestone suite offers fun decor, a King Sized bed, walk-in closet and an extra large in-suite bath with an oversized soaking tub, separate shower and double vanity. Our themed Lake View room offers beautiful lake views, lake decor, two Twin XL beds, kids items and is just steps away from the second full bath. Our cheeky themed Guest Room features a Queen sized bed, a bookcase full of books and is next to the second full bath. There is a grill located near the patio that’s perfect for beautiful nights when you want to grill out with friends and family, while looking at the lake. The spacious back deck, Adirondack chair patio or bonus shed deck offer various seating options and amazing lake views and are the perfect place to start your day with a warm cup of coffee while you enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature! After spending a day out on the lake or exploring Clarksville, we welcome you to enjoy the quiet serenity of the back porch deck with comfy chairs and glistening bistro lights to relax and breathe in the fresh air and look at the beautiful lake views while relaxing in our many seating options and areas located outside! You can can even create your own seating oasis with the beach chairs provided. Red, White and Bluestone also offers a fire pit for late night chats while you roast hot dogs or make S’mores with the provided roasting sticks or warm up on cooler nights. Lets not forget what all this town has to offer! The heart of Clarksville is just a short 5 minute drive and offers a large assortment of shops, restaurants and our amazing Buggs Island Brewery. We are also located within a short drive to several wineries. Our house directory and guidebook provides a multitude of recommendations you won’t want to miss! Guest access Guests have access to the entire home including the deck & dock and a shared beach (when water levels are within normal ranges. There is a gentle sloping path to the lake that is on or property, but the path is shared with our lake neighbors and they may use it for golf carts. You are also welcome to bring your own golf cart. Guests also have access to the shed, which houses beach chairs, games, fishing equipment, exercise equipment, coolers and more! There is also access to a pedal boat and four kayaks. Guests also have access to a basketball net across the road (Vaughan Lane) Other things to note This home is packed full of outdoor activities! Along with the grill, fire pit, dock and the beach, enjoy use of a pedal boat, four kayaks, fishing poles & equipment, assorted floats, beach cart, corn hole, badminton, a large assortment of sports balls (including access to a basketball net), an exercise equipment tub and an outdoor chess/checkers table. If you plan to bring a boat and enjoy the lake, you are able to travel by water to the heart of downtown Clarksville! Hungry? No Problem!
