The space The La Cilla apartment, next to the El Granero country apartment, is one of our most popular rustic apartments. They are part of the house's latest renovation, so they are practically new apartments that offer a lot of comfort and quality. Located on the first floor of our building, it consists of two spacious bedrooms, one double and one full bed, two bathrooms and a great fully equipped kitchen-living room that connects with our patio giving a pleasant view from the inside. Its wooden parquet floor, slate stone walls, attic roof and finishes together with its white and indigo blue color make it an even warmer, more beautiful and cozy place. Just 7 km from Plasencia and between La Vera, Valle del Jerte and Valle del Ambroz. The La Solana country house is located in Malpartida de Plasencia. Formerly called Casa Cilla (17th 17th century), it was owned by the Bishopric of Plasencia. Today it retains its architecture, shape and details but adapted to the comfort of the 21st century. In it, you can see its Arab cistern with water, vaults and its ancestral and strong forms of construction. A journey into the past with all today's comforts. La Solana is a beautiful rural complex of 6 apartments, which have 2 to 6 beds. The rural apartments have a 300-square-meter rustic patio and a garden, over 800 square meters, with a swimming pool, barbecue grill (closed in summer, we provide electric grills), and relaxing furniture. Located in Malpartida de Plasencia, within the Monfragüe National Park region (just 15 minutes away) and next to Plasencia, we are very well connected to Cáceres and Trujillo. It is a strategic place to enjoy Northern Extremadura. Each and every one of our apartments is fully equipped: free WiFi, A/C, heating, a separate living room, a fully stocked kitchen and spacious relaxation areas. Guest access Two of our house's jewels that you will surely like, the Patio and the Garden: THE PATIO: The Patio is a large 250 m2 space with an ancestral slate floor, where we can enjoy its curious barbecue built with millstones, slate and masonry. It consists of two parts of a beautiful garden furniture, spacious tables and comfortable seats where the customer can make use of them in the pleasant sunny afternoons and cool summer nights, inviting this to reading, accompanied by the fall of the water of its source, relaxation, meetings of friends and family and also for dinner, food or breakfast. It has an ancient, century-old fig tree in its center that provides cool, pleasant shade, a sundial, and a typical construction based on tile and baked brick that make it a place with a lot of charm that always fascinates the customers who visit us and that anyone can use. THE GARDEN: The Garden is another of La Solana's highlights. It is a space of more than 400 m2 surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, with its benches of wooden sleepers and its large tables built with glass and wagon wheels. An area populated with grass and surrounded by native trees; Olive, Fig, Pomegranate, Plum, Strawberry, Bamboo, Laurel, Buckthorn, Lemon, Aleppo Pine, Cherry trees………and where you can also find a great variety of aromatic plants such as Presta, Mint, Lemon Balm, Oregano, Basil, Rosemary, and many more varieties, contemplate organic farming and the traditional family garden with its great variety. It is an ideal place for relaxation, with a wide variety of birds that make it their habitat or place of passage; Robins, Goldfinches, Hoopoes, Black Redstarts, Laughingthrush, Tits, and a host of other varieties, as well as the Starlings that inhabit the nearby Church and the Kestrels. Some of these species even nest in the same garden or adjacent places. There is also a small pond near the bamboo where frogs live that croak happily when night falls, reproductions of typical Hurdes constructions such as their stone houses, swings for children, ping-pong table…… From the garden of the house and due to its spaciousness you can see the small villages of La Vera, such as Arroyomolinos, Piornal or El Barrado, and the ridges of the impressive Sierra de Gredos.
