Situated on the edge of Dartmoor our private annexe offers a unique countryside stay with home comforts, continental breakfast basket each morning, tranquility & relaxing garden to wander. Overlooking grazing pasture & alongside the River Taw you won't want to leave! The space Secure parking directly outside the cottage & your own private access to the property. Our ground floor (inc. 2 steps down) double room with crisp cotton linen, fresh flowers & spacious ensuite with shower offers a peaceful retreat. TV, Wi-Fi, tea & coffee facilities, mini fridge (complete with complimentary sweet treats!) help to make your stay enjoyable. Guest access As a guest at River Taw Cottage you have your own private gravel garden seating area. Here you can enjoy your continental breakfast basket in the sunshine or an alfresco evening drink amongst the scent of the cottage garden flowers. Our wider 1 acre garden is shared with us, please feel free to wander or find a seat to enjoy the wildlife & birdsong or later take in the wonderful dark starry skies. During your stay We live on site and you may see us with our friendly Cocker Spaniel Milo. Happy to help with any queries or additional requirements you may have during your stay, otherwise we shall leave you to enjoy your break. Other things to note Please note we have a fishing deck at the bottom of the garden which has a steep drop into the River Taw, caution must be exercised during the evenings/wet weather.
