El Nido Azul - The blue nest - best views

Summary: Centrally located at one of the tallest peaks on the island, El Nido Azul is a comfortable and quaint cottage with 2 bedrooms ideal for those seeking quiet and views. The house boasts a spacious veranda and impressive views of the valley below, the Atlantic Ocean, Puerto Rico, Culebra, and St. Thomas...perfect for relaxing, yoga, or drinking a cup of coffee. Walk down to the restaurant on the bottom of the hill or be in Isabel Segunda in 5 minutes or Esperanza 6 minutes. The Space: El Nido Azul, meaning "the blue nest", is a serene sanctuary tucked into the hillside amongst the trees. The house has two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, air conditioning, and clothes storage. There is one bathroom with a walk-in shower. Several amenities are available for your use, including: full kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, blender, outdoor grill, washer/dryer, AC, TV, wifi, hair dryer, yoga mats/blocks, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, and beach gear. Guest Access: Please note that there is a set of stairs leading down to the house from the parking area and another set of stairs that lead to washer and dryer. The car parking area is located outside our front gate. The Neighborhood: Find our road located right next to Mango’s Taphouse & Gastropub on Route 201. Located on a quiet dead end road on a hill center island but with a convenient restaurant a short walk away, we are minutes from all the activities and destinations on Vieques. Getting Around: We recommend renting a vehicle in Vieques, preferably a SUV/Jeep, in order to best access the house and enjoy all that Vieques has to offer, including some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Many publicos (public transportation) will not drive to these areas which are truly the most beautiful on the island. A golf cart or scooter is NOT a good vehicle option while staying at El Nido Azul.
