Just under 2 hours from Melbourne, 15 min drive to Birregurra, Forrest or Colac and 20 min to the stunning Otway National Park. This comfortable pet-friendly country homestead sits on one acre surrounded by open farmland rich in local fauna and flora. Visit food and wine producers, go bushwalking, visit lakes and waterfalls, play golf, explore some of the best trail and mountain biking tracks in Victoria, drive to Apollo Bay for a surf. Relax on the deck or play pool by the fire. The space Abundant opportunities await you and your family and friends, including a huge range of adventurous activities, or simply relaxing away from city life in the peace and quiet of the country. Activities in the region include markets, food and wine tours, sampling the local produce as you go. Or for the more energetic: bushwalking, hiking, golf, horse riding, lawn bowls, tennis, surfing, swimming, canoeing, fishing and of course some of the best mountain biking trails in Australia. Put your feet up and relax or get to it, as you wish. About the House: Fully equipped spacious kitchen with gas stove, electric oven, microwave (in pantry), coffee machine (beans or ground) and dishwasher. Open-plan kitchen, dining area and pool table. Lots of natural light. Separate lounge room for chill out, games, piano playing. Master bedroom (king bed) with ensuite (shower, vanity and toilet) and walk-in robe. 2nd king room with robe. Bunk room with 2 bunks (4 beds, plus spare mattress) Main bathroom (shower, bath, vanity) Separate toilet Laundry with washer, dryer, clothes racks, vacuum Front deck with shade sail in summer and outdoor dining. Back and side decks for quiet moments BBQ Fire pit Veggie and fruit garden Wifi Please note, we do not have a TV. Tank water Septic tank Guest access The whole house and fully fenced one acre property is all yours. We have lovingly and simply decorated it. It is our holiday house. Please treat it with respect. Please note: No shoes inside There is no TV Well behaved dogs are welcome! Other things to note Please join us in treading lightly on this land. We acknowledge the Gulidjan and Gadubanud Peoples as the Traditional Owners and hope you share in our wish to pay respects to their Elders, past and present, and future. We also acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and that this land always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
