Whangaroa harbour is just 5 minutes from the door! The space Your private double room offers a separate entrance and easy access to a shared bathroom. The hosts only use this bathroom to shower in the earlier hours of the morning & have their own toilet. Step outside to a spacious covered outdoor area, where you’ll find a barbecue, a small space to dine, as well as comfy sofas—perfect for soaking up the sunshine, enjoying a shady spot to read, or simply listening to the chorus of native birdsong. Guest access The entire back space from the gate & garden, all the way through to the outdoor BBQ kitchen, including the small raised deck & patio are exclusively yours during your stay. The back patio, entranceway & guest room are also exclusively yours during your stay. The shower only is shared by your hosts, & they shower relatively early in the morning, or on the weekend will wait until guests have gone out for the day. Your hosts have their own toilet, so do not use the bathroom apart from showering. During your stay You can either send a message through Airbnb, or you can message Sal directly Other things to note Sal & Gareth live on site with their 4 friendly dogs & 2 free roaming cats. The dogs cannot access any guest space, & do bark when guests arrive to let us know. If you're an animal lover, we can arrange a hello. Harry, our ginger cat, will usually ask for attention from guests, though you're unlikely to get any love from his brother Freddy, the black & white long haired cat.
