With two floors, it has a maximum capacity for 4 people. The space Arco da Calheta is a town in the municipality of Calheta, known for its calm, beautiful houses and excellent sun exposure. This is an ideal place for a relaxing vacation, outside the urban centers. This rustic house, with stone walls, has been completely renovated, giving it a new life and comfort, making it the ideal choice for a family vacation. With a pleasant space and matching decor, with the country atmosphere, the house is divided into two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a comfortable living room, a shared bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen so you can prepare your favorite dishes. From this floor you have access to the outdoor patio that is equipped with a barbecue area, leisure area and private pool. Upstairs is the rest area, with two bedrooms: one with a double bed and a private bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and a private bathroom also equipped with a shower. The pool has a special feature, as it is treated with salt, giving it a more natural and sea-like feel. For your thermal comfort, the house is equipped with air conditioning. It also has a parking space. The property sleeps four people max. AREA Located in the west, this house is in the area with the most sun exposure on Madeira Island. About a 5-minute drive away is the center of Calheta, where you will find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants and a supermarket. In Calheta, there is the Museum of Contemporary Art, a fantastic architectural work. Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar are about a 10-minute drive away. These two small villages offer their own beach, animation and beauty. Closer by, you will find small restaurants and grocery stores. HOW TO GET HERE The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to schedule one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 2 minutes' walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We will do our best to respond to all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER NOTES - Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Calheta. Thus, all customers staying in tourist developments and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 years or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights at a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. Close to your arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal fee. - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, high chair and baby bath if needed. There is a first-aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket in all properties. RULES We want you to feel at home.
