Our holiday house offers a perfect combination of comfort, coziness and relaxation with 125 m² of living space and a spacious 2,000 m² property. Ideal for families or groups of friends of up to 8 people and perfect for a vacation in a secluded location. Bedrooms The house has a total of 4 bedrooms: - Ground floor: - 1 bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm). - 1 (children's) room with a pull-out bed (90 × 200 cm, expandable to 140 × 200 cm), equipped with games and children's books for children from 2 years to 10 years old. - Upstairs: - 2 bedrooms each with a double bed (180x200 cm). All beds are equipped with comfortable toppers that ensure a good night's sleep. Please bring fitted sheets that match the dimensions of the beds (180x200 or 90x200/140x200), as well as bed linens. The pillows (80 x 80 cm) provide extra comfort. Living and dining area The open-plan living area is lovingly designed and offers space for relaxation and togetherness. - Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen with a modern cooking island is a paradise for amateur cooks. With an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, big fridge, freezer, fully automatic coffee machine, SodaStream (please bring a CO₂ bottle with a screw thread), and a variety of kitchen utensils, it is designed to meet the needs of larger families. Large pantry cabinets offer ample storage space. The dining area with a large table offers 8 seats for shared meals. - Technology & comfort: A large smart TV with access to streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ is available. Fast fiber-optic internet and a small work space with a desk also make the house ideal for a workation. A heat pump/air conditioning and the traditional kitchen stove provide cozy warmth or cooling – wood is available. Bathroom The modern bathroom offers a spacious shower, a sink, a toilet, 3 cabinets and underfloor heating for maximum comfort. Outdoor Area The large, level property invites you to play and linger with a spacious meadow, fruit trees, shrubs, and a swing. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruit, depending on the season. On the terrace – partly covered, partly open – there is a large table and 8 chairs for socializing. A hammock and a Weber grill (charcoal and lighter available at the local supermarket) make the stay perfect. Wellness and activities - The barrel sauna for up to 6 people provides pure relaxation. The wood-heated sauna stove creates a pleasant atmosphere (wood is available; please bring sauna oils and appropriately large towels). - Life jackets for children are available for days on the lake. - Play equipment such as balls, speedminton and more are provided. A SUP board and basic fishing equipment can be used by prior arrangement. - Children can let off steam to their heart's content in the large shed by playing, building and hammering. Lovingly furnished with high-quality materials The entire house has been furnished with a lot of love and care to create a cozy yet high-quality atmosphere in which you will immediately feel comfortable. As a family with 5 children, we know all too well what is important, both in terms of the very practical things and what it takes to keep the children meaningfully occupied and to create time out and relaxation together. We have arranged everything accordingly so that you can simply arrive and enjoy. Exploring the area Our accommodation in Korsberga is located in a region rich in natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Numerous activities await you nearby that will make your stay unforgettable. Here is a selection of the highlights: - Sörasjön (about 1 km south): A picturesque lake with shallow shore areas, ideal for swimming, fishing (pike, perch, zander) and relaxing. Changing room, toilet, non-swimmer area & barbecue area available. Mini golf course with café in Korsberga (approx. 400 m south) A family-friendly mini-golf course within walking distance, ideal for an entertaining afternoon.  - Kettilsås ski resort (about 10 km northwest): A small but fine ski resort with downhill skiing and a beginner's hill, perfect for winter sports enthusiasts. A groomed, illuminated cross-country trail is available right in Korsberga at the sports field. - Sweden Zipline (about 15 km south): At over 4.5 kilometers in length, it is the longest zipline route in Europe and offers an unforgettable adventure high above the treetops. Not approved for use: - Locked built-in closet in the right ground-floor bedroom (this is where our private belongings are located). - Locked service hatch to heating and other electrical systems on the second floor. - Attic of the house and shed - SUP board, fishing gear (only by prior arrangement) Other things to note As a family with 5 children, we know how hard it is to find suitable and affordable accommodations. Therefore, not only is the house and property optimally oriented to the needs of larger families, but we would like to particularly support families from 4 children and offer individual discounts. Please feel free to contact us! Utilities fees The utilities such as water, garbage disposal and internet are fully included in the rental price. Electricity consumption is also included proportionally in the price – up to 15 kWh per day, multiplied by the number of your days of stay. This generous consumption is absolutely sufficient for the standard use of the house (including the light, kitchen, and air conditioner in moderate operation). As a rule, this does not result in any additional payments. Nevertheless, we ask you to pay attention to the most economical use of electricity in order to conserve the environment. However, if extremely high consumption due to, for example, a continuous operation of the air conditioning, abusive charging of electric cars or other unusual uses, the excess consumption will be calculated at 35 cents per kWh. Please note that the consumption is calculated over the entire length of your stay. So the summed consumption is decisive: Example: For 5 nights, a total of 75 kWh are included in the rental price. If you consume more, the difference will be charged separately. We measure consumption automatically and transparently. In addition, you can always see the meter reading on the electricity meter yourself. Please remove wood for heating the kitchen witch and sauna from the wooden shed. You can also use the wood supply according to the fair-use principle for the fire bowl and is included. If you have any questions about the regulations, we are at your disposal. If damage occurs during your stay, this is not a drama. We just ask you to contact us directly so that we can find a solution together and everything is also perfectly prepared for the next guests. The house lives on its higher quality and lovingly curated furnishings, including some handmade ceramics and glass from the region. If anything gets damaged, we ask you not to replace anything on your own. The amenities are deliberately consistent to preserve the coziness and style of the house.
