Free onsite parking and level access. This is the perfect place to base yourself while exploring the beautiful northwest of Tasmania. Enjoy the calm and quiet beauty of Norwood Farm Cottage. The space The Cottage has two bedrooms with King and Queen beds respectively. Both are very private and have views to the garden. There is heating in both. There are two separate bathrooms Bathroom one has a bath tub and shower Bathroom two has a shower There is a full sized eat-in kitchen with lovely views of the vineyard and garden. Tea and coffee is provided as are basic condiments such as salt and pepper, olive oil There is a coffee machine with Nespresso compatible pods, toaster, kettle, microwave The lounge room has a smart TV and there is a separate dining room with a large table that seats 10-12 people There are two large outdoor tables to enjoy alfresco dining. We have a strict no party policy However we can host weddings and small private functions so please feel free to enquire. In the small garden house there is a third shower and toilet plus a Miele washing machine We do not have a dryer Guest access You have the full use of the cottage and surrounding gardens and vineyard You will receive the code to the key safe prior to your arrival. Please feel free to walk around the vines We do ask that you do not walk near the Barn at the top of the hill as this is a couples retreat and there may be guests staying there Please respect their privacy Other things to note Norwood is a working farm and so there will be the occasional farm vehicle or maintenance personnel on the property. However we are mindful of your privacy and will keep any disturbances to a minimum. From time to time you will be able to observe activity around the grape vines. Please feel free to approach Mike our viticulturalist He has a wealth of knowledge about growing grapes. There will often be cows in the surrounding paddocks. They will not come to the gardens around the cottage as the fences are electrified. For safety PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE ELECTRIC FENCES. Because of the cows there will sometimes be flies Please keep windows and fly screens closed to keep them out of the house We provide insect repellent and fly spray.
