Suite 3 : This is a 12 acre Coffee Plantation in the Western Ghats Mountain range of Coorg, Madikeri. The Suite 3 is approximately 480 sq ft with a Veranda of around 150 sq ft. The space We at "Yaala" (meaning cardamom in Coorg) take pride in introducing our super private beautiful , traditional Coorg Villa located right in the center of 12 acres of lush green Robusta Coffee plantation along with a beautiful stream flowing from the south towards north. This is our family home & since we aren't staying here currently we plan to share this beautiful experience with fellow nature lovers who understand nature & would love to be in the absolute midst of nature.The canopy of hundreds of old trees are so high that you'll rarely see the sky and it's really cool or cold most times unless peak summer. The lowest we have experienced is 14°C during December 2024. We often spot fifty plus varieties of birds including peacocks, kingfishers, hornbills, woodpeckers, parakeets etc. This property is away from human habitation and the noise & smoke of the cities. You'll be able to breathe the purest of air always and listen to the chirping of birds 24/7. Crickets also sing from 4 30 pm until 6 30 pm just for you. We have loads of fruit plants like Banana , chikku, avacado, orange , jackfuit etc (please don't pluck them without the informing the caretaker. Amenities: The property has 24/7 wifi. Ups backup. Water heaters in bathroom, a back up gas heater, aswell. A generator (a little noisy at times because the place is super quiet). A fully working kitchen. Basic utensils, gas stove, water purifier. A Sony television (45") with inbuilt NETFLIX , PRIME etc. Refrigerator. We have a washing machine in the utility (ask the caretaker), a iron box, a small hairdryer, toiletries kit, use and throw slippers, hot water kettle, tea/coffee sachets, free water bottles (2) Guest access The entire 12 acres Coffee Plantation without disturbing the plantation workers. Other things to note IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS : 1) We are inbetween 100% nature & plantation. Hence, a. You might spot Birds, insects in the farm premises (grasshoppers, ants, beetles etc) b) The temparature sometimes drops below 15°C. c) During winter the rains are almost everyday. d) Since we are inbetween nature the wifi might sometimes drop due to the cloud cover or wire break or signal issues from the main source. (We have 2 connections & rarely have any outages) e) Even though we have back up for power there might be power fluctuations. We haven't faced any issues until now but even if there is low voltage we will try to get it fixed asap. f) The Google maps sometimes stops a little ahead of our property so in case any confusion feel free to call us of follow the direction & landmark pdf sent to you. (Let's do a treasure hunt :) g) Since the property is inbtween interior nature the access road from the main road sometimes has pot holes due to heavy rains and the water droplets from the high canopy. If your not used to village roads please be advised about it. h) We will serve you a FREE simple, healthy breakfast. Any other food requirements (lunch, dinner, starters or special Coorg dish requests have to be pre ordered during the booking. The food is cooked at home with love by our aunt from Coorg. (She takes time to cook delicious mouth watering dishes). Menu of items will be sent on booking confirmation. Note: There are no restaurants or supermarkets immediately around the property. The nearest town Napoklu is around 6 km ( 8 -10 minutes drive) h) Mobile network is not like in the cities. The networks keep fluctuating everyday. You can easily connect to wifi & on the wifi calling option to receive normal calls. (If no network at all please ask us for a bsnl sim card for temporary use. Available network strength = Airtel - 30% , BSNL 90% , JIO 5% I)Sometimes the force of hot water might be slow due to the cold or voltage fluctuations but mostly it's perfect. J) We love pets as much as you do. Be assured that they will love our pet homes designated exclusively for them. Also let us know if you need pet food. We will arrange it for you.
