Our home offers a beautiful space for you to completely unwind, While you relax by the sparking pool and take in what the region has to offer. If you are looking for a family holiday, or a romantic getaway- Waves at Burnett Heads is perfect for everyone. The space “Waves at Burnett Heads” a beautifully renovated 1940’s post war cottage. Originally from Ashgrove in Brisbane, Waves was relocated to Burnett Heads in January 2023 where it was renovated with ultimate comfort and relaxation in mind. Featuring a sparkling in ground pool, split system ducted air conditioning, open plan living, BBQ and a fully equipped kitchen. Waves can accommodate up to 6 guests with 3 comfortable bedrooms, stunning bathroom and an additional second powder room. Our Pool is not heated, however it is perfect during the warmer months.o Other things to note Burnett Heads is a small coastal town in the Bundaberg region which is also known as the “Gateway” to the Southern Great Barrier Reef and the famous nesting spot for the Logger Head Turtle. Our property is centrally located and only a short drive from everything you need! Mon Repos Turtle Centre- 6min drive This is where you can book your turtle laying and hatching tours. (We highly recommend booking this in advance before your trip so you don’t miss out, as they book out quite quickly) Oaks Beach- 4min drive or a lovely 15min walk if you prefer. Oaks Beach is a 200m stretch of sandy beach- perfect for swimming, snorkelling and exploring rock pools. During the warmer months and school holidays this beach is patrolled by surf life savers. Town Centre- 5min drive Here you will find everything you need, including a small IGA supermarket, Chemist, Kelly’s cafe (our favourite breakfast and coffee stop) and the Lighthouse Hotel- well known for their great food and live music. The Bundaberg Port Marina- 8min drive If you are planning a chartered boat tour, or exploring the reef over at Lady Musgrave Island with ‘The Lady Musgrave Experience’ this is where you will need to go.
