NEW: Historical vicarage near the Baltic Sea

Our stylishly furnished vacation apartment is located on the first floor of a more than 200-year-old vicarage, which has been lovingly and ecologically renovated. Wall and underfloor heating as well as a large fireplace provide cozy warmth. Firewood is available by arrangement. The extensive parish park with its centuries-old trees invites nature lovers seeking peace and quiet to linger, read and enjoy the silence. The space Our heritage-listed house was built over 200 years ago using local wood and clay. We have lovingly preserved these traditional materials during the careful renovation - the loam construction ensures a particularly pleasant indoor climate: in summer the rooms remain wonderfully cool thanks to the thick walls, in winter they retain a cozy warmth. The spacious garden with mature trees is the perfect place to relax. Here you can pick and enjoy fresh apples, pears, berries and herbs from the parish garden in summer. You can gather mushrooms in the nearby forest. There is the possibility of an extra bed in the living room. A crib can be placed in the bedroom (both free of charge). A small, cozy cottage with a fireplace and infrared heating is available in the garden for up to two additional guests (for an extra charge). Please note that the cottage does not have its own bathroom or water. You can light a campfire in various places in the garden and admire the fantastic twinkling stars. As an art historian with a doctorate, I offer personal guided tours of historical and cultural highlights in the region on request. I also organize gilding courses where you can learn about traditional gilding techniques and try them out for yourself (both for an extra charge). Other things to note Our vicarage is in a solitary location opposite the ancient village church and is surrounded by woods and fields. If you like, you can take long walks to observe the wildlife, birds of prey and beavers. There is a burial mound and the remains of a medieval moated castle nearby. The Hanseatic cities of Rostock, Stralsund and Greifswald can be reached by car in around 40 - 50 minutes. The Baltic Sea (Darß) is about 50 minutes away by car. Many interesting manor houses in the surrounding area invite you to visit them in summer. We are happy to give you tips for excursions and hikes!
