The space The house is 50m2 in floor area, it is low under the roof, low doors and narrow passages so you have to move carefully around and watch your head so that you do not hit yourself. All electrical installations are new in 2022. There is underfloor heating in the hallway, kitchen and bathroom. The garden offers great views and sun until the sun goes down behind the mountain in the west. In the back garden you are completely undisturbed. The house is one of the oldest in the beach town of Sand. It was moved from Gata (the main street in Sand) in 1860 and therefore escaped the two major fires in the late 19th century where during the first in 1879 60 houses and 20 boathouses were destroyed. The house is about 170 years old, but renovated in the last 3 years. This is our home, with a standard that suits us. If you expect hotel standard, you should rather book a hotel. Nice hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity of both the easy and more demanding type. On nice days we hear the roar from the waterfall in Suldalslågen, where you can also see the salmon jumping. Tour suggestions available in brochures. Suldal Bad is a 20-minute walk away.
