Excellent WIFI for home working. The space The Lodge is in private peaceful spot in the village with its own private parking which is rare in the village. It is surrounded by a large private woodland garden with a lovely tree-house for children to play in. The local family friendly pubs are only 5 minutes walk away as is the beautiful beach in Alnmouth. The Northumberland coastline in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The village has a few shops, an art gallery, several cafes and a little marina with boats. Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens are only 10 minutes drive from the Cottage. Alnmouth Golf Club is 10 minutes walk and it is widely regarded as one of the finest golf courses in the North East of England. Please note that we are very sorry but during school holidays we can only let the Lodge for weekly bookings starting on a Friday. Guest access The Lodge is accessed by the front door, a key safe is to the right of the door. There is a lovely, huge, woodland garden with private patio area and there is a tree-house for children to play in. We have a shed in the garden which guests can use to store their bikes. Lots of indoor and outdoor games are available. Other things to note Please note that we are very sorry but during school holidays we can only let the Lodge for weekly bookings starting on a Friday.
