Description
Welcome to your lovely bell tent home, on our 7 acre smallholding. We are located in the National Park in wild and beautiful northern Pembrokeshire, surrounded by spectacular coastline, ancient culture and history, sacred mountains, and abundant wildlife, with incredible views out over the Preselli hills. We have ducks, hens, cats and ponies and are very family friendly. We have two tents available, Chestnut and Hawthorn. The space We moved onto this smallholding in November 2019 and we love it more every day. We are regenerating the land with permaculture and regenerative agriculture techniques, and will happily talk you over our plans if you are interested. You are welcome to wander around and explore and meet our friendly animals, and can easily get lost amongst wild flowers, blackberries, owls and songbirds. Pete is a carpenter and natural builder and is often working on interesting things, and Nim is a permaculture teacher and designer and is often found in the garden. This is a working smallholding, and we will be busily gardening, building, designing and being with our children, who are 15 and 7. Your tent is set up in a little woodland glade behind the farm house, sheltered from the wind. There are two bell tents in the same glade, - both share the bathroom, but have separate kitchens. Both can be booked together to accommodate two families or couples coming together. Your tent has a lovely double bed with a thick and extremely comfy mattress, and two single floor mattresses that can be brought in when needed. This means that we can accommodate two adults and two children, or four adults (if you like to get cosy in a tent together). There is a wood burning stove in the tent to keep you warm, and lots of extra duvets and blankets should you need them. The tent is right beside your kitchen and bathroom and just a few seconds walk from your parking space. Guest access I'm sorry but we are not able to accommodate dogs, as we have free ranging ducks and a cat who really doesn't like dogs very much. You will also have your own fire pit and benches. We have firewood harvested from our own land for sale, along with fresh hen and duck eggs. Other things to note We hope we have thought of everything that you will need, but please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your stay here more lovely.
