Our family has built cherished memories here and we invite you to do the same! * A car is necessary to discover the surroundings. The space The three story house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 8 people. Upstairs, you will find a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. You will have access to a large office where you can work away from home, all the while enjoying great sea views. Balconies off the second bedroom and the office offer quiet corners to enjoy the sunshine. The main floor features open-floor living with a large living area appointed with traditional Greek furniture, a kitchenette, dining area and fireplace alcove. A wide veranda with seating affords views of the bays. There is also a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. The lower floor opens out to the garden with outdoor dining areas and room to play. There is a traditional brick oven and grill. The indoor living area includes another sitting room, full kitchen, breakfast area, dining area, a bedroom with a small double bed and a bathroom. The surroundings: We recommend renting a car for your stay. Although some points of interest are close, the area is hilly and Greek summers are hot! Distances below are all driving times. The house is 25’ away from Athens International Airport, minutes to beaches and 45’ from Athens. The nearby town of Keratea is 10' away and offers amenities such as grocery stores and pharmacies. Kakia Thalassa beach (5’) is an organized beach featuring many amenities like umbrellas, showers, beach bars/restaurants, swimming pool and even a summertime open air movie theater. Bring equipment to do some rock climbing or swim out to the small island across the beach to discover a hidden natural pool. Daskalio beaches (5’ and 10’) are less organized. There are several traditional Greek tavernas and beach bars in the area. Many more beaches are within a 15-30’ drive up/down the coast or across Attica on the Saronic Gulf. For a day trip, consider heading to Lavrio to enjoy a seafood lunch and explore this bustling ancient port town (25’). From there, it’s just another 15’ to the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounio for an unforgettable sunset (and of course another beach to visit!). Feel like taking to the sea? Lavrio port has ferry service to nearby Kea (aka Tzia, only an hour away) and Kythnos (~1.5 hours depending on itinerary). Athens can be reached in as little as 45’ by car or to avoid navigating the capital’s traffic, consider driving to one of the Metro stops and taking Line 3 into the city. Other things to note The house is equipped with a stair lift to be used by guests who cannot climb the stairs. 🇬🇷 Government requirements: Please note the Greek government requires us to submit a list of completed reservations every month; this includes a name and identification number for each stay (passport/EU ID number for foreign guests, ΑΦΜ for Greek residents 🛂). Help us comply with regulations by sharing the reservation-holder's ID number at check-in securely via AirBnB message. Thank you! 🙏 The government charges guests a sustainability fee of €15/night during high season (April-October) or €4/night during off-peak (November-March). No worries, this is already included in our rate and we will take care of paying it. Thank you for helping our country meet its sustainability goals! 🌿 Registration Details 00003215191
