Welcome to our quaint three bedroom home, centrally located in the seaside community of Chester Basin. It's the perfect location between Chester and Mahone Bay where you can find many shops, cafes, restaurants and services. Nestled just steps from the ocean, our beautiful home offers the perfect retreat for your coastal getaway. The space Neighbourhood: - The popular Seaside Shanty Restaurant is only a two minute walk - conveniently located near Chester, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg -just 45 mins to Halifax - Across the street from the rails to trails for walking or biking - swimming ; Hutt Lake ( five min drive), Freda's Beach or the outdoor Lido salt water pool in Chester (just 10 minute drive) - Enjoy the nearby Sensea Spa, golfing or brunch at The Kiwi Cafe; all less than 10 minutes away! Other things to note: Although there are only four beds there is also one cozy, full size day bed and a pullout sofa to sleep on making the house comfortable for 8 guests. Pets: we cannot allow pets because we have two friendly family dogs. Please let us know if you're ok with them or not ok. We can definitely plan accordingly. Normally they roam free but the gates can be shut to keep them out of your space as well. There is a fire place outside for an evening fire but please be sure to check the NS Fire Ban website first to see if it is allowed. They update daily by 2 pm. The fine is $20,000!!! Guest access Guests will have full access to a private, fenced in flowering garden including a covered sitting area where you can enjoy an evening fire ( must fist consult the ns fire restriction website) a bbq and dinner al fresco. There's also a porch swing to unwind in. Other things to note Although the house has 4 beds, there is also a cozy twin daybed and a pull out sofa for a total of 6 guests Our property is on a dug well system. During the summer we must be very careful about how much water we use. Because of this, we kindly ask that you conserve your water consumption, and note that the washer and dryer are not in use.
