Please note that WIFI is available but we are in rural France and therefore it can be slow. 4G, however, works well. The space Gites de Bigorre is the perfect place for any event or for the holiday you are planning - or just for total relaxation in a beautiful setting. The cottages are well placed for all mountain activities, namely skiing, cycling, walking at all levels, mountain biking, paragliding, horse riding, bird watching and fishing. For golfers there is a beautiful international 18-hole course (overlooking the mountains) a 5 minute drive. You can also take things at a quieter pace and visit the local mountain villages, close to Pau, the beautiful St Bertrand de Comminges, or a pilgrimage to Lourdes. You can also take a day trip to Spain via the many passes or tunnels or visit one of the many thermal baths. The Tour de France is also a great attraction here in July and in winter you will be close to the best ski and winter sports resorts in the Pyrenees. The cottages have a shared swimming pool in the privacy of the main garden with a magnificent panoramic view. The perfect way to end an active day or just relaxing throughout the day. The cottages are very well equipped to prepare meals yourself, there are also many bars and restaurants in the spa town of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. In addition, in the garden, a stone barbecue is at your disposal and many seats will allow you to cook and have your meal with the magnificent view of the mountains.
