Enjoy a relaxing stay in the beautiful Surselva in Rueras. The 4-room apartment (90 m2) is on the 1st floor in a small apartment building with a total of 4 apartments, of which only one is permanently occupied. The house is located not far from the main road above the church, within walking distance of the Dieni valley station. (About 15 minutes on foot) From the balcony, you have a wonderful view of the mountains of Upper Surselva. The entrance to the apartment is on the ground floor. The space The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The living area has a cosy soapstone stove. The dining area is in the same room and is also open to the kitchen. The entrance area has a large cloakroom. With enough space for 5 people, including for winter clothing, ski boots, hiking boots... There is free parking available directly by the house. Pets are not allowed, and smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. It is an older wooden house. Since we deliberately do not have a TV, there are various games in the apartment. There is also a radio/CD player in the living room. Part of our CD collection has already found a place there. We also enjoy cosy reading on the sofa in front of the flickering fire in the soapstone stove. When it's still snowing outside, this is pure romance. Guest access A free parking space is included with the flat. The ski rack on the ground floor may also be used. The whole flat, including the balcony, is at your disposal. Other things to note Rueras is the ideal starting point for winter sports such as cross-country skiing, skiing and ski touring. In the snow-free months, the village is the starting point for beautiful hikes. Crystal-blue mountain lakes and the most beautiful mountain panorama beckon. The region also offers great bike tours. There is also a golf course, an indoor swimming pool with a beautiful sauna area and a small swimming pond in the vicinity. Also ideal with small children. The campsite in Rueras offers a sauna cabin with space for up to 4 people to sweat. The brave can then cool off in the snow or in the young Rhine. The source of the Rhine, Lake Toma, is very close by and is worth a hike. For families, the playground in Rueras am Rhein is a great place for countless adventures. The Lag da Claus, a family-friendly swimming lake in the nearby area, is also a highlight. For those interested in technology, the Neat construction site is nearby. There is an informative trail and an exhibition on the construction of the tunnel.
