Guest access Guests have full access to the farmhouse, fire pit, meadow, and grounds (except other rentals, barns and fenced pastures). Explore the chapel, take a walk in the meadow, hike in the woods, or simply relax at the picnic table or on the swing under the tree. Other things to note 2 additional rentals are on property, spaced 1/4 mile away Working farm with Dexter cows, horses, ponies, chickens & occasional bear sightings Kind Amish caretakers live onsite—helpful but respectful of your privacy Cell service can be spotty (Verizon 4G works best) AWD/4WD recommended in winter or during storms House is old—some floors slope slightly and lights can flicker from time to time If you need to check in or out earlier or later, please just ask in advance, sometimes we can accommodate. We are an organic practice farm and as such bug sightings are possible. No smoking/vaping indoors, parties, or animals allowed Max 10 adults overnight; children must be supervised at all times. Please note we do not child proof other than outlet covers in the twin bedroom and the porch does not have a railing. The last couple turns to get to the rental while paved they are narrow, curvy, steep at times, have no guardrails and have no lines on them. Please use caution when traveling to the property once you turn of the main road. Please be respectful of other drivers and slow or pull off to the side, if needed, to let other drivers pass. Use extreme caution if traveling in the dark or during inclement weather.
