The space The house features two levels plus a basement sleeping area, fully equipped for short or long stays: Upstairs • 1 King Bed • Private ensuite bathroom • Direct access to the balcony with stunning ocean views Downstairs • 1 single bed • 1 bunk bed (double bottom + single top) • Private bathroom accessible from the room Basement Level • 1 Queen bed • 1 Single bed Amenities & Features • Full kitchen: Fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, chest freezer • Appliances: Oven, microwave, blender, slow cooker, BBQ, sandwich toaster • All beds have mattress protectors & mosquito nets • Sheets & towels provided • 2 inflatable paddle boards available for use Guest access Getting Around: • Nadi Airport – 128km west • Suva City – 75km east • Pacific Harbour – 22km east (closest town for groceries, fuel, doctors, restaurants, pubs) • 4x4 vehicle recommended, especially in wet conditions. Shopping Tips: • First stop: True Mart (near Navua) – great meats, groceries, and Sunny Pizza • Navua – for hardware, chemist, and general shopping Food & Drinks: • Stock up on groceries for a few days upon arrival • 15L spring water bottles recommended for drinking • Bring red meat (up to 10kg) from Australia if desired—must declare at customs • Duty free is best for wine and spirits Packing Tips: • Surf gear (board, leash, rashie, booties, zinc) • Snorkel gear & fishing lures • Spray jacket & headlamp • Crocs or reef shoes • Sunscreen, hat Other things to note Important Notes – The Nature of Remote, Coastal Living This home is nestled in a harsh coastal rainforest environment, exposed to salty trade winds, tropical rain squalls, and quickly shifting weather. We do our best to keep the house well maintained, but please understand: • Winds and rain can come through louvre windows during storms • Occasional leaks and power outages may occur • Decks and driveways can be slippery when wet • Some fixtures (light switches/outlets) may show signs of corrosion • Expect to encounter rainforest life—little creatures, bugs, and the occasional gecko If you’re looking for resort-style luxury, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re after a true Fijian experience—raw, peaceful, and immersed in nature—you’ll love it here.
