Casa Bosque Viejo is unique house located in the mountains outside of Antigua in an old growth cloud forest with spectacular views of Acatenango and Fuego volcano's. A nature lovers paradise! The space Experience staying in a comfortable house in a cloud forest at an elevation of 2370 meters (7776 ft) The three bedroom, two bath house has a full kitchen, living/dining area, and a work area. The main living area has a wood burning stove for those chilly mountain nights, and each bedroom has a small space heater Amenities include a smart TV and WiFi via Starlink The outdoor living space includes two covered patios with comfortable seating areas, a hammock, and an outdoor kitchen with a bbq station Plan on bringing your own food as there are no grocery options nearby. Cooking basics and household basics are provided (salt, pepper, cooking oil, drinking water, hand soap and dish liquid) There are five restaurants in the general area with Hobbitenango being the closest, a 5-minute walk For your leisure time enjoyment there is a fusssball table, cornhole and darts. There is an outdoor firepit with rustic seating to enjoy afternoons and evenings around a fire with wood that is provided for you The 2.5-acre property also includes a series of walking trails to explore and enjoy Nights are chilly to cold, and the days are moderate to warm depending on weather conditions The property is 25 minutes from Antigua and is accessible via motorcycle, ATV or on foot. The closest public car park is 200 meters (0.13 miles) from the gate to the property. Drop off/pick up is available at an additional cost For stays longer than two nights housekeeping is available.
