Large cottage in debt to the Ahr! Our rustic house was built in 1870. It is very nicely renovated, friendly furnished and very comfortable. The house can accommodate up to 20 people. There are six bedrooms available. On the terrace/garden (about 50 sqm) with great views over the Eifel and the Ahr, you can let the evening sun shine in your face or use the outdoor sauna and hot tub (hot bathtub/bath tub) at about 40 degrees water temperature. It is very nicely renovated, friendly furnished and very comfortable. The Ahr makes a loop around the place like a Omega sign and the cottage is right on the river, but also about 10 m above, in the middle of the sweet place with its two great restaurants right around the corner. Around it there are plenty of beautiful routes for walking, hiking or cycling. Among other things, the Ahrsteig and the red wine hiking trail. The house can accommodate up to 20 people. There are six bedrooms available. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor (raised ground floor), two are on the 1st upper floor and two (one is a through room) are located on the second upper floor. Bedroom no. 1 downstairs has a double bed (200x200cm). Bedroom no. 2 has a double oak bed (180 x 200 cm) and two single beds (90 x 200 cm each). The two bedrooms on the 1st floor each have a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and two single beds (90 x 200 cm each). One bedroom on the 2nd floor has a double bed (160x200cm) and the second bedroom has two French beds (140x200cm). In addition, you can of course still bring your mattress storage and sleep with several in classroom No. 1 on the ground floor (54 sqm). There are bathrooms on the ground floor (shower, 2 toilets, 1 reservoir + 2 sinks), on the 1st floor (two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, incl. Shower + toilet; one with separate bath and shower + toilet). On the 2nd floor, there is another very small bathroom with toilet and shower. In the large living/dining area (classroom No. 2, 54 sqm) with open, fully equipped kitchen (4-burner induction field, dishwasher, microwave, two-row espresso machine as well as espresso mill, etc.) and fireplace, you will be happy to spend your time. A very large dining table made of solid oak (5m x 1.2m) offers plenty of space for up to 20 people. A special highlight is classroom No. 1 on the ground floor. With its fireplace and the seating area draped around it, suitable for cozy gatherings or reading, it is perfectly usable as a game room with the large pool table (with the table top also to be used as a large playing table) and the professional foosball table (Ulrich brand). A high end HIFI system (Dynaudio Contour 2 MK II speakers, Yamaha full amplifier, Marantz CD player, Logitech Bluetooth adapter) are already there so you can pamper yourself with wonderful music of your choice. A HiFi system is also available in the large living/dining room. On the terrace/garden (about 50 sqm) with great views over the Eifel and the Ahr, you can let the evening sun shine in your face or use the outdoor sauna and hot tub (hot bath barrel/bath tub) at about 40 degrees water temperature (costs €100/2 days each, each additional day costs €40). Bedding and towels are available in the house and can be booked for a fee (bed linen 12€/ pers. and towels 8€/pers.). On the old break yard you can barbecue together (a 110 cm diameter swivel grill grill, including 80 cm fire bowl + another charcoal grill are available), sit on the 5 cozy lounge furniture made of euro pallets around it, play table tennis and even in slightly worse weather you can store the motorcycles/bicycles or yourself under the covered part. The house can be booked from an occupancy of 6 people (on long holiday weekends and over New Year's Eve only from 12 people). We hope you enjoy staying at our holiday home in Schuld an der Ahr! VERY IMPORTANT: our house is not a party house. We welcome friendly, fun and sociable people who want to meet in our house to spend time together. However, it must not under any circumstances cause our house and our neighbors to be affected. Please be respectful of furnishings, volume and quiet hours. IMPORTANT: This is a rustic, old house in the countryside. That's beautiful. This location means that living things like flies, ants and mice are there every now and then. We are very eager to keep these away from our house, but due to windows and doors that are open from time to time, we are unable to completely prevent this. The furnishings are also not renewed every year, but will only be exchanged at times. I expressly ask you to rent the house only if you agree and can live.
