Large cottage in Schuld an der Ahr! Our rustic house was built in 1870. It is very nicely renovated, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The house can accommodate up to approx. 20 people. There are six bedrooms. On the terrace/garden (about 50 m²) with great views over the Eifel and the Ahr, you can let the evening sun shine in your face or use the outdoor sauna and the hot tub (hot tub/bathtub) at about 40 degrees water temperature. The Ahr makes a loop around the town of Schuld like an OMEGA sign and the vacation home is right on the river, but also about 10 m above it, in the middle of the sweet town with its two great restaurants right around the corner. There are plenty of beautiful routes to walk, hike or cycle around. Among other things, the Ahrsteig and the Rotweinwanderweg. The house offers up to approx. 20 people. There are six bedrooms available. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor (raised ground floor), two are on the 1st floor and two (one is a through room) are located on the second floor. Bedroom no. 1 on the ground floor has a double bed (200 x 200 cm). Bedroom no. 2 has an oak double bed (180 x 200 cm) and two single beds (90 x 200 cm each). The two bedrooms on the 1st floor each have a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and two single beds (90 x 200 cm each). One bedroom on the 2nd floor has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and the second bedroom has two French beds (140 x 200 cm). In addition, you can of course bring your mattress and sleep with several in classroom no. 1 on the ground floor (54 m²). Bathrooms are on the ground floor (shower, 2 toilets, 1 urinal + 2 sinks), on the 1st floor (two bathrooms, one with bathtub, incl. shower + toilet; one with separate bathtub and shower + toilet). On the 2nd floor there is another very small bathroom with toilet and shower. You will enjoy spending your time in the large living/dining area (classroom no. 2, 54 m²) with an open, fully equipped kitchen (4-burner induction field, dishwasher, microwave, two-circuit espresso machine and espresso mill, etc.) and fireplace. A very large dining table made of solid oak (5 m x 1.2 m) offers plenty of space for up to 20 people. A special highlight is classroom no. 1 on the ground floor. With its fireplace and the draped seating area, suitable for a cozy get-together or reading, it is perfect as a game room with the large billiard table (with the table top also to be used as a large game table) and the professional foosball table (Ulrich brand). A high-end HiFi system (Dynaudio Contour 2 MK II speakers, Yamaha integrated amplifier, Marantz CD player, Logitech Bluetooth adapter) is already there so you can indulge in wonderful music of your choice. A hi-fi system is also available in the large living/dining room. On the terrace/garden (about 50 m²) with great views over the Eifel and the Ahr, you can let the evening sun shine in your face or use the outdoor sauna and the hot tub at about 40 degrees water temperature (costs €100/2 days each, each additional day costs an additional €40). Linens and towels are available in the house and can be booked for a fee (linens €12/person and towels €8/person). In the old schoolyard you can have a wonderful barbecue together (a 110 cm diameter swivel grill grate, including 80 cm fire bowl + another charcoal grill are available), sit on the 5 cozy lounge furniture made of Euro pallets around it, play table tennis and even in slightly worse weather you can park the motorcycles/bicycles or yourself under the covered part. The house can be booked from an occupancy of 6 people (on long holiday weekends and over New Year's Eve only from 12 people). We hope you enjoy staying at our vacation home in Schuld an der Ahr! VERY IMPORTANT: Our house is not a party house. We look forward to friendly, fun and sociable people who want to meet in our house to spend time together. However, under no circumstances should this affect our house and our neighbors. Please be respectful - of the furnishings, volume and night's rest. IMPORTANT: This is a rustic, old house in the countryside. This is beautiful. This situation means that there are occasionally living creatures such as flies, ants and mice. We are very anxious to keep them away from our house, but we are unable to completely prevent this due to occasionally open windows and doors. The furniture is also not renewed every year, but is only gradually replaced. I expressly ask you to rent the house only if you agree and can live with this.
