Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms - 2 with queen beds and 1 with a double bed. Downstairs, there is a queen bedroom and a retreat with a double bed and a bunk bed (2 singles). Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office. The accommodation has 2 bathrooms, with the main upstairs bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, vanity, hairdryer and toilet. Downstairs, the second bathroom is shared with the laundry and offers a walk-in shower, vanity, and a separate toilet. For year-round comfort, Stays at Hughes has reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the upstairs living area, queen bedroom, and the downstairs retreat. Ceiling fans are installed in all upstairs bedrooms and the living area, as well as the downstairs queen bedroom. The upstairs living area is open plan, comprising a lounge room, dining space, and fully equipped kitchen with access to a balcony overlooking the rear yard. The living room has a large wall-mounted television with USB and HDMI ports, and complimentary WiFi is available for guest use during their Port Hughes holiday. The kitchen includes an electric stovetop and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a large fridge with a freezer on the bottom, with additional kitchen appliances including an icemaker. Tea and coffee provisions are supplied, and guests can bring their own Aldi Expressi capsules for the coffee pod machine or purchase them locally. Downstairs, the retreat offers additional living space with a lounge, television, and an electric recliner lounge suite. The kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and K-Fee coffee machine. A selection of board games is also provided. Laundry facilities are located downstairs and shared with the bathroom, with a top-load washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, ironing board, and pull-up clothesline in the yard. Outside, Stays at Hughes offers a shaded entertaining area at the rear of the property, complete with outdoor dining and seating overlooking a landscaped yard. A hooded gas barbecue with a gas ring and a fire pit (guests must bring their own wood and observe fire regulations) are also available for use. The fully fenced yard includes a lawned area at the front and back, perfect for outdoor activities. There is off-street driveway parking for up to 4 cars, with additional room to park a boat in the fenced area at the front of the house. ABOUT YOUR BOOKING AND YOUR HOST, COUNTRY GETAWAYS HOLIDAY RENTALS: The Country Getaways Holiday Rentals office is located in Maitland (South Australia) and is open is 9am- 4pm Monday to Friday. As part of making your booking, you agree to the terms & conditions of stay. Country Getaways Holiday Rentals will require credit card details after making your booking and prior to key details being given. **Please note that a refundable security bond (called a security deposit by Airbnb), which is minimum $300 is payable direct to the host (by credit or debit card only) before access to accommodation is granted (which is in line with Airbnb hosting policies for API connected listings.) The office is contactable via phone or email, for information regarding your booking. Bonds are refunded within 14 business days of departure, and following the report from the cleaner. Alternatively, Country Getaways has an after-hours support number available for guests that require immediate assistance. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: All properties are fully self-contained; however personal requirements and consumables are not supplied. Whilst some properties may have minimal quantities of toilet paper, washing powders & detergents, and soap; it is expected that guests will bring their own items for the length of their stay. Generally, nothing is provided in the way of food items. Guests need to bring their own tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and other food stuffs.
