A perfect spot to unwind - everything you need for a memorable stay. The space The property is located on a residential street. Our warm and inviting lake house is filled with thoughtful touches and one-of-a-kind handmade woodwork throughout. Hardwood floors, stone countertops, custom cabinetry, and an open floor plan create a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Nearly everything you’ll need is conveniently located on the main floor, including the kitchen, dining areas, family room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. Upstairs, you’ll find the third bedroom, perfect for additional family members or guests. (Please note: the wooden staircase is open, not enclosed.) The space offers central air-conditioning and forced heating for year-round comfort. Each of the three bedrooms includes quality bedding, linens, pillows, and blankets. -Bedroom 1: King bed, Smart TV, en suite bathroom, large windows with sunrise views -Bedroom 2: Queen bed, Smart TV -Bedroom 3: Two full beds (upper level) *Ceiling fans are provided in all bedrooms. Bathrooms & Laundry Two full bathrooms stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We provide starter toilet paper (4 rolls) for each. -Master Bath: Large size walk-in shower, warming towel bar, blow dryer -Second Bath: Full-size tub/shower combo, blow dryer -Mini washer and dryer: great for keeping up with small loads of laundry during your stay. AREA ATTRACTIONS While the home offers a tranquil escape, it’s also perfectly located for exploring Au Gres or taking fun day trips to nearby towns the whole family will enjoy. -Walking distance to Point Au Gres Park & Campground -1.8-miles from the home to Point Au Gres Nature Lookout. A 600-foot lighted boardwalk extending into a marshy bay, offering excellent birdwatching opportunities and serene lake views -The downtown area offers a variety of amenities and activities for visitors. The Au Gres City Marina provides boat launches, slips, and fishing opportunities. Several public parks feature playgrounds, picnic areas, and scenic walking paths. -Three local 18-hole golf courses -Day trips to Largo Springs & Lumberman’s Monument in Oscoda (50 mins) Explore nearby Tawas for beaches, restaurants, and boutique shopping (30 minutes) A FEW NOTES Our home is situated on the pointe, offering tranquil water views and beautiful sunrises - an ideal setting for guests seeking quiet, rest, and relaxation. While swimming is possible right behind the house, please note that the shoreline has natural stones beneath the water, so we recommend bringing water shoes for your comfort. The water here is shallow, which means it's not suitable for a dock or boat mooring, and we do not have a groomed sandy beach on the property. However, just two doors down, you'll find Arenac Park - a quick and easy walk featuring a spacious, sandy beach that’s perfect for swimming or simply enjoying a beach day with family and friends. It’s the best of both worlds: a quiet retreat with access to all the fun just steps away. Boat access is 10 mins away at Au Gres Boat Access Site. Parking: Parking is provided in the driveway for up to three vehicles. Street parking is not permitted. FOR YOUR INFORMATION: -No pets allowed -No smoking or vaping on the entire property. -No parties or events — please help us maintain a peaceful space for everyone. -Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM — thank you for being considerate of our neighbors. -For safety and security there are four outdoor security cameras: on the detached garage facing the front yard and home, front doorbell camera facing front yard, attached garage side entry looking forward, and back of home facing deck and backyard. These cameras face outward and record video and sound when triggered by motion. There are no cameras inside the home, and the outdoor cameras do not record any interior space Guest access You’ll have full access to the entire home and attached garage, with the exception of: -Locked detached garage -Locked hallway closet -Locked master bedroom closet (alternative storage provided with a full-size dresser & wall-mounted hanger for personal belongings) Other things to note Our home sits right on the water and offers a peaceful, scenic spot to relax and enjoy the view. The beach behind the house is perfect for unwinding with a good book, sipping your morning coffee, or simply soaking in the beauty of the water. You’re welcome to swim there, but the bottom is rocky—so we recommend bringing water shoes for comfort. If you're looking for a classic beach day with soft sand and easy swimming, Arenac County Park is just two doors down. You can get there by taking a short, 100-foot walk along a rock path that follows the shoreline. The park has a beautiful sandy beach that’s great for swimming, sunbathing, or playing in the sand—perfect for families or anyone looking to spend some time by the water.
