Beautiful renovated barn conversion only 15-20 minute walk to town, The Old Hayloft is ideally located for exploring St Mary’s. Immaculately presented, this high beamed top floor accommodation is ideal for couples looking to be close enough to amenities but away from the hustle and bustle of town. The Old Hayloft is a fully equipped self catering flat with a double en suite bedroom. Welcome pack includes our own eggs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk & biscuits. The space The Old Hayloft is accessed by easy to use and safe granite steps. Enjoy a glass of wine or your evening meal at the bistro set on the shared lawn directly below the property or have a lounge on the rattan suite. Located at Parting Carn Farm on St Mary’s, a small family working farm known locally for its delicious free range eggs. We also have a gorgeous herd of Hereford cows and Saddleback pigs. Located just 10 minutes walk to the local pub at Old Town a little further along is Old Town beach. The Old Hayloft is thought to be perfectly located. Guests will love the light feel of the space with its deep soft carpet and luxurious bedding, towels and equipment. The fold away table is a lovely little feature when not in use but folds out to comfortably sit a couple to enjoy a meal or game! The bed is a double but with a king size duvet for extra comfort. For each guest there is an Egyptian cotton bath sheet, hand towel and face cloth. Beach towels are available for your use so we ask that you do not take the accommodation towels out with you. We also have a picnic blanket, ironing board, iron and a hair dryer for your use. All of your self catering needs will be met, a lot of thought has gone into ensuring you have everything you need. A full list will be provided but some of the items include; tupperware, cafetiere, roasting tin, baking tray, lots of Joseph and Joseph items and much much more. Please note that during the peak season the changeover day is on a Friday only. Safety is important to us, therefore the property is equipped with mains fire alarms, fire blanket, fire extinguisher and a carbon monoxide alarm. The property is strictly non smoking. We recommend you take out travel insurance in case of any disruptions to your travel to the islands. We kindly ask that you remove your shoes or boots. Guest access Feel free to use the grassed lawn just below the property, enjoy a glass of wine or your evening meal at the bistro set or a lounge on the rattan. Please note that although very rarely used by others, this is a shared area. Other things to note You may experience some noise from daily farming such as machinery or livestock although every effort will be made to keep these to a minimum. Unfortunately the accommodation is not suitable for children. Please note, although we accept instant bookings, any bookings with negative reviews from previous hosts will be cancelled.
