In a bustling historic market town, with easy public transport links to London and Oxford, close to the M40, local train station, and Heathrow airport. Explore Oxford with regular buses from/to Thame or plan a trip to Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire! The space Lovely garden with full patio set. Enjoy a cup of tea or your favourite beverage outside or in, or take a stroll through town to see the beautiful St. Mary's Church which was built between 1230 and 1240 and is the location of Robin Gibb's (Bee Gees) grave and Andy's memorial plaque. Thame also offers a library and a museum along with the Phoenix trail which is great for walking. Tuesday is the weekly market which has a nice variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, butcher, fish monger, and much much more. Please note the guest safety as the bedrooms and bathrooms are both located upstairs. Guest access The entire home is available to our guests along with the backyard and patio. There is a storage building in the back (where the patio set is) which is not available to guests. Other things to note Tuesday is market day! There is a bus stop across from the library (a few steps away) and another near the local Costa Coffee shop if you're headed towards Oxford. If you're headed towards the train station or Aylesbury, the bus stop is in front of the town hall. There are several small specialty shops in walking distance, offering gifts, chocolates, cheeses, coffees along with a butcher and many restaurants and pubs. There is a cricket field behind St Mary's Church where you can often see a match on the weekends. They do have a clubhouse on the premise. Oxford is a fantastic day trip, by car or bus, where you can explore on your own or take one of the many guided tours.
