House on the rocks of Cabo Polonio facing west on the Atlantic Ocean, superb sunsets, marvelous southern skies. Studio type, ideal for couples but with beds up to 4 people. You have to bring your own bed sheets and towels. The space Cabo Polonio is a very unique place, very simple and rustic, the house has no electricity, we use candles, there is a gas stove and utensils. There is no hot water. To shower we use the traditional water bucket with head shower, you have to heat 1 liter of water and mix it with 2 of cold water in order to have a hot shower. Just fill the bucket halfway otherwise it will be to heavy to lift and hook on the bathroom ceiling and could be dangerous if it drops on your feet. The rain water collects from the roof into an exterior tank, from the bathroom you pump it with a manual pump to an interior tank to get water for washing and the toilet. Please bear in mind that because of the location of the house so close to the ocean, sand could easily be present. Not an easy place to keep in pristine condition. Guest access Guests will be on their own after getting the key of the house from the housekeeper. You can contact me anytime for any questions or problems you may have. Other things to note Please try to save the rain water that stores in the tank, water is very valuable in Cabo Polonio, use it to wash the dishes and for taking a shower. If the water level in the tank is low use a bucket of water from the outside well next to the house to flush the toilet. This will preserve the good water from the tank. Also bear in mind that rain water is not potable. You can buy bottled water at the grocery store. Please do not set fires on the rocks or grass around the house, there is a concrete circle place outside to light fires or barbecue. Also please do not put candles over wood surfaces, table, stair, beds or counters, place them over the marble or floor in a candle holder. After using the gas stove remember to shut down the valve switch on the canister.
