Thoroughly modernised - it even has electricity - yet full of the character of buildings of its time (1910), Tin House (formerly known as the Bothy) is a place of peace and eclectic interior decor. Surrounded by the woods and fields of secluded Glenquiech, from this little house you can walk or cycle for miles, undisturbed; or be still, and listen to the silence. Red squirrels scamper. Red kites soar. We have another holiday let, Wood House, available if you want to come with friends or family. The space Formerly maids' accommodation, it's now a charming space with one bedroom with a delicious king size bed, a well-lit luxury double shower, an open-plan kitchen with all equipment included to cook a sumptuous meal, dining table and a cosy living-room with smart tv. Tin House is centrally heated (oil-fired), extremely well insulated, doubled glazed and has a cracking little state of the art woodburner. It was restored and refurbished in the summer of 2018 and again in 2021. There's a washing machine - and extra logs for the woodburner - in the wooden shed behind. Other things to note Because of the cattle and sheep on the farm, dogs don't work here. Over the last couple of years we have welcomed an increasing population of rare Waders nesting in our fields including; Oyster Catchers and Curlews.
