The beach with crystal clear water is a 3-minute walk. This is a private room with a loft bed in a small guest house that opened in December 2024. The handmade loft bed, made with a local carpenter, has a reading light and an outlet. We are committed to using natural materials as much as possible, and the bed curtains are colored with plant dyes. Meals are not provided, but the shared kitchen is equipped with basic cooking utensils. The lobby on the ground floor has a calm, cafe-like atmosphere. You can drink coffee, do nothing, or just relax without worrying about each other. From nostalgic picture books to encyclopedias, we have a selection of books, so please enjoy the slow flow of time. An inn for nature lovers run by hosts who love nature and living things. We aim to create a place that does not burden the environment as much as possible, cherishing the idea that "we are also part of nature". I hope you can heal your body and mind in this place, which feels like a time slip to the Showa era. ※ We have one friendly cat and one shy cat. They are foodies, so they may come to you when you are eating. We look forward to hosting guests who understand this. The space You can use the room that is normally used as a dormitory (shared room) as a private room. The room has 3 loft beds for 2 people. A maximum of 6 guests can stay. Together with a local carpenter, we created a space that is open but also private. The first floor of the loft bed is enclosed except for the curtain, giving it a more private atmosphere. The second floor has an open ceiling, so you can see the ceiling beams, giving it an open, secret base-like atmosphere. The size of the bed space is 100 cm long x 195 cm wide x 120 cm high. We have a space where you can relax. Each bed has a reading light and an electrical outlet, and there are also lockers with locks in the room (4 places). Also, the host himself added color to the bed curtains with plant dyes, with the desire to make the inn feel as natural as possible. Feel free to use the following facilities during your stay (shared with other guests and hosts). • Kitchen Meals are not provided, but a spacious kitchen is available. The kitchen is stocked with basic condiments and cooking utensils (pots, kettles, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, etc.). * The center of town is about 7 minutes away by car, so we can also introduce you to delicious local shops! Please feel free to ask. • Lobby There is a lobby where both individuals and groups can relax without disturbing each other. You can relax and read while drinking coffee, or just relax and do nothing. You can also talk about your travels with other guests. Enjoy the slow flowing time to your heart's content. We have a wide range of books, from nostalgic picture books to eccentric creature picture books. • Bathroom The spacious bathroom is fully equipped with shampoo and body soap. It is also directly accessible from the outside, so you can go straight there after coming up from the sea. We will also introduce you to recommended hot springs, so please feel free to ask! Guest access Feel free to use the lobby, kitchen, toilet, washing machine (charged), and guest bathroom (white curtain). Please refrain from entering other guest rooms, staff rooms, the 2nd floor veranda, staff bathrooms (yellow curtains), and outdoor storage. During your stay The host also lives in the staff room in the building, so please feel free to ask if there is anything you need. They are greedy eaters, so they may come to the smell of food. We are very sorry, but please manage your food yourself, such as putting it in the refrigerator, in a bag, or in a cupboard. Also, please cooperate in not leaving the entrance, room, or bathroom windows open (screen doors are OK). [An old inn in a place rich in nature] The sea is a 3-minute walk. And the back of the inn is surrounded by forest. Because it is a natural place, sometimes insects come to visit. We would appreciate your cooperation in sorting garbage and managing food so that the insects do not come to visit frequently. Also, because it is an old inn, there may be drafts, thin walls, and other inconveniences. We don't have the latest comforts, but we want to create a nostalgic and warm inn for our guests.
