In Villeperdrix, a village of 100 typical inhabitants of the Drôme provençale, located on the south side of the Montagne d 'Angèle, we offer you to stay in our cottage located in the heart of the Baronnies Regional Natural Park. Note that in summer, rentals are weekly, ideally from Saturday to Saturday. The space Independent studio of 20 m² located in our agricultural property, the Ferme de Perdicus, 10 min walk from the village and as much by car (it's hilly here!). Bedroom with double bed, bathroom, small fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Linens and towels provided. And the garden? A terrace opens onto a vast 14 ha exterior combining wild nature, organic lavender and olive tree crops. From the property, the view of the surrounding mountains, the Eygues Gorges and the village of Villeperdrix is magnificent. Our cottage is made for people who want to take a moment in their own right, quiet and away from it all, as evidenced by the photos. If you come on foot or by bike, and many of you do, we strongly invite you to study the map and topography of the places because there is a small climb that seems quite steep, especially if you are a beginner. Guest access We provide you, in sharing with our own use, a small round swimming pool located right next to the cottage and which is about 4 m in diameter, ideal for swimming a little and cooling off during the summer. We put it in the water when we feel that the temperatures are high enough (during the month of June) and empty it when the temperatures have fallen again (end of September/beginning of October). 5 min drive or 30 min walk you can access the Gorges de l'Eygues (sometimes called Gorges de Saint-May), the water level is sometimes quite low, especially during years of drought but you will find many water holes to cool off. You will also find, 30 minutes by car, the Pas des Ondes lake in Cornillon, a magnificent small lake in the middle of the mountains, part of which is classified as a reserve and the other is dedicated to swimming. Similarly, another body of water entirely dedicated to swimming exists in Rosans, 30 minutes by car in the Hautes-Alpes. Other things to note Information for cyclists and hikers: the cottage is located away from the village, 10 min walk, 20 min by bike with climbs and descents, please take this into account in your itineraries as we do not provide taxi service. If you encounter a problem related to the vagaries of life on the road, we will be happy to help you. The road connecting the village to the cottage has just been renovated, on the other hand the last 100 meters of track that connect the road and the cottage have been taken back to the excavator following the severe weather in September but large motorcycles and cars that are too low do not pass. We are in a middle mountain in a remote area, and that's probably why you were attracted. This implies that the management of food resources is one thing that is organized: the nearest grocery store is 10 min by car (Sahune), the bakery (Les Pilles) or the nearest bread depots (Remuzat) are 20 min away, as is the farmer's store and the Utile store (Remuzat). "Supermarkets" are in Nyons (30min). In the same way, we are lucky to have a very good 4G phone network unlike other nearby villages that did not yet have a mobile network until recently. However, it is common for it to fail, making it impossible to communicate or connect to the internet for a few hours to several days (rarely). All this is the vagaries of the countryside in the mountains and contribute to a particular lifestyle that you will all or part experience during your stay.
