La Mareuille is a country house in Morbihan, an old Breton eco-renovated farm, surrounded by a vegetable garden, forest and groves. A stone's throw from La Roche-Bernard, it is ideal for exploring the Vilaine, the countryside, the forest and the beaches of Morbihan. We received a warm welcome: a bouquet from the garden, beds made, and vegetables or fruit from the garden. Just nature, calm and wood fire. Put your bags down, everything is planned. Weekends, holidays, pro teams and shoots welcome. The space ___ A house, alone La Mareuille is an old 18th century Breton farmhouse, set on a slight height, at the end of a path lined with young oaks. We leave the communal road, we pass the forest, and the house appears. All around, nothing but nature. Here, luxury is silence, the black night full of stars, the crackling fire, the dry boots near the stove and the pivert that gives the morning tempo (and with a bit of luck, a deer that runs through the garden). ___ A house that lives through the seasons La Mareuille changes with the seasons. In the winter, we spend a lot of time around the stove, playing, reading. In spring, the light largely enters the large south-facing bay, the birds come back, the vegetable garden was reborn. In summer, we live outside: meals under the trees, siesta in the hammock, cabins, tomatoes and small fruit picked on site, long evenings under the stars, a jump to the sea. In fall, the mists arrive, the boots come out, we go to the mushrooms and we warm up by the fire pit. ___ The house The house is 186 m² and accommodates up to 12 people. . Nearby walking trails, forest Ocean and beaches 25-30 minutes away The lime, hemp, and earth coatings immediately give the impression of a cocoon. The wood warms the whole thing up. The furniture and objects are largely heathered. ___ You're good to go You're ready to put your bags down. Families are welcome. We know that we often arrive busy, sometimes tired. We'll make it easy for you to check in and out. When you arrive, the beds are made, the fire is lit (depending on the season). The earth walls naturally regulate the heat, the water is heated with solar energy, the large south-facing bay captures the sun and the stove takes over in the evening. The furniture is largely secondhand. The garden is intentionally seeded, the vegetable garden cultivated in permaculture. ___ The exteriors The house opens onto a sunny terrace and a 3000m2 lot. Around: the vegetable garden, the orchard, the other farm buildings… and Geo, our cat. In the warm season, you can serve yourself with small fruits, vegetables and aromatic herbs. ___ Shootings & Filming We host photo shootings and shootings. The place is particularly suitable for rural settings, images of family homes, nature, cooking and simple activities. Table d 'hôtes for work stays Guest access You will have access to the entire house, parking, and a private garden of 3000 m2. The other buildings and the rest of the garden are strictly private. From April 11, 2027, we will be moving with our two children into another building on the farm. We will each have our own parking, entrance and private garden. We can avoid meeting at all if you want to preserve your tranquility, or we can meet (in the vegetable garden, which is the only common area). It's up to you. Other things to note . Our desire? To create a place that combines accommodation, small agricultural activity, table d'hôte and reception area of 55 m². . Since April 2025, the large house for 12 people is ready to host. The vegetable garden offers its first vegetables, while the orchard gently takes root. The table d'hôte, prepared from our harvests, is in progress. The barn will be transformed by 2027 into a space dedicated to reception and creation. . Vacations, weekends with friends or family, shooting, accommodation and/or catering for professional events, retreats (yoga, fasting, etc.) or artistic residences (theater, dance groups). Everything is possible. . Other buildings on the property are being renovated outside of rental periods to preserve the tranquility of the place. . The roof of a building is covered to preserve its structure. . The garden is not (yet) completely enclosed. We do not have a microwave or TV, but we do have a video projector. It is already set up, and you just have to enter your platform/streaming TV channel credentials to enjoy it. . The house must be returned in an acceptable state of cleanliness. An additional cleaning fee is applied in case of exceptional cleaning. We're sending you a linen inventory. If it is not in compliance upon your departure, we will charge for the missing linens. .
