The space Important to Know: Rainforest Living: Expect encounters with monkeys, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife, as well as bugs or critters even in your bungalow. 20 Minutes to Town/Beaches: The retreat offers peaceful seclusion in nature, but Puerto Viejo and the beaches are just a 20-minute drive away. Walking Ability: The bungalows are located 50m to 150m from the parking area and require walking on uneven terrain and climbing stairs. Guests should be fit enough to manage this. Restaurant: This bungalow does not have a kitchen amenities. But meals are available in our restaurant or deliver from nearby restaurants. 4x4 Vehicle or Equivalent: The road to Samasati is 1.5km long rugged and uphill from the front gate. And a 4x4 is necessary. If you do not have a 4x4 ride, we provide rides for you for an additional fee. Please let us know what time you plan to check-in so we can wait for you. And we also offer 1 round trip daily. Additional rides are $5 each way. And must be scheduled in advance.
