With the beach a short 5 minute walk away and with unique sundown views into the Agulhas bush, this is a special haven that will provide you with the best of all worlds. Let the kids play some table tennis or games in the spacious garden, have a few sundowner drinks in the adjoining braai area and relax after a stunning day at the beach. The space This enchanting and rustic fishermen’s cottage provides all you need with an understated charm - definitely not posh, but real & full of life. Langezandt Fishermen’s Village impresses with the endless southernmost beach in Africa and - seen from Cape Town side - the first swimming beach of the Indian Ocean. Surrounded by exquisite fynbos reserves and abundant bird life, the location makes for a unique and unforgettable experience. Note: Our views are towards the Agulhas bush and towards beautiful sundowns, not towards the ocean. Views are uninterrupted, seeing we are the last house in a cul de sac, no neighboring houses blocking views or bird-life experience. The beach is a 5min walk away through the estate and provides for wonderful sunrises for the early risers. Guest access Guests will be able to access all areas including: main house, cottage, garage (with ping pong table, darts, boogie boards for the waves, games), garden, braai area, outside shower area. Other things to note WEEKEND VISITORS SPECIAL CHECK-OUT: You are welcome to stay until 15h00 on a Sunday. We appreciate the limited time one has during weekend visits, therefore we want visitors to be able to take it easy and make the most of the Sunday before having to head back home. TO THE BEACH: Out the door to the stop street (40m), left and immediately right into Zandt Crescent, follow left bend after 100m, wooden walkway to the beach is on your right (5 minute walk). GARDEN BORDER: This consists of fences with small trees and bushes in the foreground. Dogs and small children will be safe and should not run off, unless digging trenches or squeezing through minimal spaces is a favourite pass-time. DSTV & WIFI: The DSTV 'Premium' package is provided for viewing entertainment for young and old. All sports channels included! A very stable WIFI service is also included for your convenience. GAMES, PING PONG & DARTS in the large garage to keep the kids & all busy, even on the bad weather days! NUMBER OF PERSONS, LOFT AREA: Steep steps leading up to the loft room, this area is ideal for older kids to have their own space. Overall, our cottage is great for 4-8 persons, with a maximum of 6 grown-ups.
