Characteristic apartment of about 75 sqm, able to accommodate up to 4 people, located on the first floor of a renovated period building (NO lift). The property is located in the heart of Ortigia (Restricted Traffic Area), the enchanting historic center of Syracuse, a few steps from the main attractions of the city. The accommodation consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, a bathroom and two small balconies. *Airport taxi service from/to Catania Airport available upon request* The space The inside is organized as follows: - LIVING ROOM with KITCHENETTE (with induction hob, fridge with freezer, kettle, oven, microwave, wine glasses and kitchenware), dining table, sofa and access to the small balcony; - BEDROOM with double bed, sofa bed (one and a half), desk, smart TV, wardrobe and access to the small balcony; - BATHROOM with shower box, sink, bidet and toilet. FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning with heat pumps (split in the living room and bedroom), ceiling fans, iron and ironing board, drying rack, hairdryer and washing machine (in the closet on the ground floor). Cot and high chair on request, subject to availability. PLEASE NOTE: there are internal stairs, from the entrance to the first floor where the apartment is located; be careful if you are traveling with children. Please note the presence of a safety gate. Guest access The apartmet is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants. Other things to note To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and to pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night of stay, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings. Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard. Syracuse Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd. Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment. Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox. In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm. If you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to: - From 15:00 to 21:00: EUR 15.00; - From 21:00 to 23:00: EUR 25.00.
