It all began with a rusty roof in need of replacement and continued to a full renovation - fully rewired and replumbed. It is a relaxing space to switch off, unwind and reconnect. Surrounded by beautiful national parks, pristine beaches. The larger towns of Bega and Merimbula are less than half an hour away. Walk to cafes and eateries. Walk to Tathra hotel on the headland with its spectacular views. You might even decide to dine and listen to some live music. You may find yourself so relaxed that you won’t drive until it’s time to leave. Driftwood is a 2 level beach house - with access stairs to the upper level internally and also from the back yard. THE HOUSE With 4 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms + outside shower with hot and cold water for after the beach, it is a perfect spot for a family beach holiday! there are views to the ocean from the top level enjoy a private front yard and back yard. A remote controlled sliding front gate allows access for off road parking Large verandah decks front and back Large triple window sliding doors open onto the front and also back verandahs GROUND LEVEL Laundry - A washer & dryer and an access door to the outside yard and clothes line This also leads to outside hot and cold shower Living area - lounge, access to front yard through double sliding doors. It has RC/air conditioning and T.V. kitchenette corner - with cupboards sink, small fridge & kettle Bathroom - Shower and separate toilet Queen bedroom - ceiling fan and access to back yard through a sliding door with fly screen Twin single bedroom - with ceiling fan and access to front yard through a sliding door with fly screen UPPER LEVEL 1 Queen bedroom - with ceiling fan and built in robe twin single bedroom - with ceiling fan and small robe bathroom- with bath, shower and toilet + heated flooring for winter months open plan living area - with lounges, TV & RC/air conditioning. There is a dining area with banquette/corner booth, seating around a wooden table with a view out across the small holiday park to the coastal vegetation and ocean. The back verandah has an easy clean, flat plate /griddle bbq that’s connected to reticulated gas. There is an outside dinning table. With the sliding doors open it makes for an even larger open plan dining kitchen area. The back yard has a picnic table and umbrella. There is a fire pit area that is only for use in the winter months Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. Infants and toddlers are most welcome, however please note that we don’t have a cot or high chair.
