Welcome to this old Jura farm! Your accommodation is located on the ground floor and offers a direct view of the mountain of "La Chalentine". You can enjoy the calm, nature, hiking trails, stone houses of the village and the exceptional panorama from the medieval castle (unmissable sunset!). Beyond that, the Jura offers you its forests, pastures, lakes, waterfalls, mountains, vines, cheeses, wooden toys... so ENJOY! The space For over 20 years, I have been renovating this building while respecting its architecture and materials as much as possible. Stone, wood and various lime plasters (whitewash, tadelakt and "fresco" plasters) give this home an authentic and modern character. The thermal insulation is made from bio-based materials (hemp lime, wood wool, cellulose wadding), the underfloor heating offers a soft and pleasant heat provided by a wood pellet boiler and the electricity is 100% renewable and cooperative. The cottage is located in the heart of the village, at the beginning of the street that goes up to the medieval castle (No. 4) Parking is available across the street from the accommodation. In Cuiseaux (3 km) or Cousance (4.5 km), you will find all the useful services: shops, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, banks, doctors. Honey from GAEC Ecuyer in Digna (3 km). Products from the "Ferme du Château" on site, open on Fridays only (beef, pork, lamb and various preparations). Other things to note For your stay, I provide: - sheets - towels and bath mats - hand and dish towels - toilet paper - garbage bags - paper towels, aluminum foil and cling film - some SENSEO pods - laundry detergent - dishwasher products - hand soap PLEASE NOTE you must bring: body soap, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush and any other necessary products not mentioned above. At the time of your DEPARTURE, I ask you to leave, in all cases, the ACCOMMODATION TIDY AND CLEAN: - beds undone and sheets placed on the floor of the bedrooms - refrigerator emptied and cleaned - hob and oven cleaned - dishes washed, wiped and put away - trash cans emptied and washed If you do not ask me for the CLEANING OPTION (€50 to be paid on site) you must also clean: - sink, basin, mirrors - the toilets - the shower (taps, earthenware and floor only. The tadelakt walls are washed by me) - floors (vacuuming and washing).
