The Glade Cottage is a gorgeous private retreat, set in private, natural acreage close to Lorne. Ideally located near beaches, wildlife, bush-walking trails and Great Ocean Road. Located in the Lorne Otway Hinterland only 20 minutes drive from the beaches, restaurants and main street activities of Lorne and the Great Ocean Road. ​The self-contained cottage sleeps four comfortably, with a light-filled kitchen/living/dining, a cosy log fire and a large, northern facing deck looking over the bush. The space The cottage is set on a 13 acre regenerative farm with horses, goats, chickens, an orchid and a large veggie patch. The cottage itself is nestled among grassy acreage with tress and is secluded and quiet. Guests arrive into an open plan kitchen-living area that opens up onto a large, northern facing deck which looks out to spacious acreage of trees and grass. The bathroom has a shower/ bath and a high window which provides natural light and privacy. There is an in-ground trampoline. Guests are encouraged to wander around the 12 acre property and interact with the animals and environment. The hosts are available for any questions or private tours. Portacot available upon request.
