A private wellness pool house next door can be booked exclusively for your group. The space Welcome to Tannenblick Holiday Home in Rochlitz – a characterful home with plenty of space. Rooms & living You’ll have the entire holiday home to yourselves, with around 140 m² of living space. The rooms are spread over two floors and are designed to give you plenty of space to spend time together as well as quiet places to retreat to. The spacious living and dining area, with views of the garden and direct access to the terrace, is the heart of the house. There’s plenty of room here for shared meals, games evenings and relaxing together. The central living area on the ground floor can be separated from the lower living area with a wall-mounted sliding door – particularly practical for families with young children and for creating a little extra peace and quiet in the house. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals together. Sleeping arrangements There are three bedrooms: • 2 bedrooms, each with a 180 × 200 cm double bed • 1 bedroom with a 160 × 200 cm double bed and 2 single beds (90 × 200 cm) The sofa bed in the living room (130 × 200 cm) can also sleep up to 2 people. If needed, we can prepare an additional chair bed in one of the double bedrooms for a child up to around 10 years old. For babies and toddlers, 2 travel cots including cot bedding are available. Bathrooms The holiday home has 2 bathrooms. The bathroom on the main floor has a bath with a shower, while the second bathroom has a shower. Garden & terrace The approximately 1,000 m² garden is exclusively yours to enjoy. On the south-east-facing terrace, you can enjoy meals together and spend time outdoors. Sun loungers, a barbecue, smoker and fire pit are available for relaxed evenings outside. The natural-style garden offers plenty of space for children to play, to relax and to spend time together. Location Enjoy the best of both worlds at Tannenblick: a peaceful setting on the edge of Rochlitz, with nature and the town just a short walk away. The forest is only 5 minutes from your doorstep, while Rochlitz Castle and the River Mulde are around 10 minutes away on foot. It’s a lovely starting point for walks and little adventures – or simply for enjoying a quiet day surrounded by nature. Discover Saxony Tannenblick is not just a peaceful retreat, but also a great base for exploring Saxony. Around Rochlitz, you’ll find beautiful countryside, castles and historic sites, family-friendly attractions, as well as opportunities for walking, cycling and enjoying the water. The Rochlitzer Berg is close by – a distinctive landscape feature and part of the Porphyrland National Geopark. Here you can explore historic porphyry quarries and discover the distinctive Rochlitzer Porphyry Tuff, a volcanic rock around 290 million years old which was internationally recognised as an “IUGS Heritage Stone” in 2022. There’s also plenty to explore on longer stays: Leipzig, Chemnitz, Dresden and Zwickau all make interesting day trips. The Ore Mountains and Saxon Switzerland offer further opportunities to enjoy distinctive landscapes, walking trails and nature. Closer to home, you can visit Rochlitz Castle, Kriebstein Castle, Rochsburg Castle and Colditz Castle, as well as enjoy the countryside along the Zwickauer Mulde river. If you prefer to take things easy, you can simply spend the day in Rochlitz and enjoy the garden – or book the optional wellness pool house for some private relaxation time. For families with young children To make travelling with babies and young children as easy as possible, we already provide a range of useful equipment: • 2 travel cots including cot bedding • 2 highchairs, including 1 adjustable highchair that grows with your child • Children’s crockery and cutlery • Changing mat, step stool, potty and child toilet seat • Socket and corner protectors • Night lights • Books and games Children up to 2 years old stay free of charge. Kitchen The kitchen includes: • Oven with microwave function • Ceramic hob • Dishwasher • Fridge and separate freezer • Coffee machine and French press • Kettle • Toaster • Waffle maker • Hand mixer with stick blender A basic selection of coffee, tea, herbs and spices, salt, sugar, oil and vinegar is provided, along with washing-up liquid, a sponge/cloth, dishwasher tablets and tea towels. What’s included Your stay includes: • Bed linen • 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person • Electricity and heating • Wi-Fi • Final cleaning • Washing machine and laundry detergent • Basic household essentials The bathrooms also have shower gel, shampoo, hand soap and hand towels. Toilet paper is provided for the first few days. Optional: Wellness Pool House About 30 metres from the holiday home, on the neighbouring property, you’ll find our wellness pool house. It can be booked exclusively for your group in addition to your stay. The pool house includes: • An indoor swimming pool with counter-current system (8 × 4 m) • A whirlpool for up to 6 people • A steam room for 2 people • A pool table There is also a small kitchen and a toilet. Towels are provided in the pool house. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Price: €200 for 1 day, €150 for each additional day. The pool house is separate from the holiday home and is booked and paid for separately. If you’d like to use it, please let us know before your arrival. For planning purposes, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Guest access The holiday home is all yours to enjoy – you’ll have the entire house and garden exclusively to yourselves. You’ll have access to all living areas, the three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen and the entire approximately 1,000 m² garden with terrace. If you’d like to add some private wellness time to your stay, you can also book the wellness pool house exclusively for your group. It’s available all year round and is located on the neighbouring property, around 30 metres from the holiday home. You can walk there directly from the garden via a private path, so there’s no need to go out onto the road. There are 3 parking spaces on the property, with additional public parking available along the roadside. Check-in is easy and contact-free via a key safe. Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 10 am. You’ll receive all the details you need for your arrival in good time before your stay. Other things to note Good to know The holiday home is located in a quiet residential area. Out of consideration for our neighbours, it is not suitable for parties, loud celebrations or stag and hen parties. We recommend having a car for getting here, shopping and exploring the area, as public transport in Rochlitz and the surrounding area is limited. The house is not wheelchair accessible and is spread over two floors, with stairs inside. Dogs Up to 2 dogs are very welcome. Please let us know about your dog before your arrival. The fee is €30 per dog, per stay and is paid directly to us. It is not included in the Airbnb price. Please bring your dog’s own bed or blanket – beds and sofas are reserved for our human guests. The garden is not fully fenced, so dogs should not be left unattended outside. Small garden pond There is a small pond in the garden, approximately 20 cm deep and 1 metre in diameter. Families with young children should take this into account when supervising them. Non-smoking The holiday home is strictly non-smoking. Registration details DE346075664
