The Mediterranean house is modern and stylish. It offers a reading lounge downstairs, whilst the upstairs lounge extends onto a balcony with sea view. Voted by our regulars, our Executive suite with private balcony and 180 degree view over the ocean, is simply the best room in town! All the rooms offers modern comforts, including 19 channel Dstv, safe, hairdryer, robes, coffee/tea maker, fridge etc. Guest access There are kettle & fridge facilities in the rooms. A barbecue area is situated next to the pool. Guests are welcome to put a salad or sandwich together in our kitchen. We do however, not allow any cooking unless the same group occupies the entire house. During your stay There is always staff on duty to assist you with planning your day, booking excursions on river barges, township tours etc. Also directions and a map so that you will not get lost in our lovely seaside hamlet! Other things to note You will not notice the difference when the lights go down in town during load shedding. A Villa de Mer has purchased a gigantic generator that will meet with all your needs.
