Relax in a charming room with its own private bathroom and connected work-space room. You'll have the entire second floor of the house and free street parking. Enjoy the sweet private backyard and walk in the nearby Arboretum or spectacular Harkness Park, visit historical museums, casinos, Mystic, and lovely beaches. Close to Conn College, Coast Guard Academy, L&M Hospital, Pfizer, Electric Boat, the Navy base, Mystic, casinos, train and ferries, stunning beaches, historical spots and museums. The space The air conditioned 2nd floor bedroom is a nice size with a small office space available. It has a queen bed and a single bed both with comfortable mattresses. Full bathroom. There is a Kurig coffee machine, a microwave, small refrigerator, TV with Netflix, HBO, Apple TV, but NO cable. yard is not fancy but so sweet and colorful with summertime flowers. Very relaxing! Guest access Feel free to make coffee or tea in my kitchen but there is a Kurig and microwave in the room. I’m not comfortable with full meal cooking because I’m here a lot. You can use my refrigerator if necessary but there’s a small one in your room. If you use cups, plates, silverware, AOK, but put them in the dishwasher as I like to sanitize things, rather than hand washing dishes. Thank you. During your stay I can offer ideas for getting around, restaurants, music and entertainment in the area. I am happy to make you some coffee or tea. Come and go as you please as I am not bothered by you staying out late or checking in late. Other things to note Park on the street, the nearby side street, or in the driveway. The room is upstairs. I have a shy cat, Mazie and she can go outside. Feel free to feed her.
